Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Review FULL (With PS5 Gameplay) | Should You Buy It?

Here is my full review of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty and my opinion on whether or not I think you should buy and play it. The gameplay in the video is from the PS5.

Instant buy. Nioh 1 and 2 loved it. Soulsborne games. Love them. Throw some samurai's in there im buying. Need this game. And lie's of P aswel. Wukong and when the winds meet. All games i need in my life

For the players of Nioh 1 and 2 we'll be on this, I can't speak for the souls community though, y'all were complaining about the counter button already from what I heard after the little demo they gave us so do so at your own peril, I'm getting the deluxe edition tonight.

Aren't most nioh players already souls players?

@@BurningSovereign there's only a small overlap. Souls players generally hate the combat flow of the Nioh games, along with the looter aspect of the games

Does the game have similar mechanics with the kodoma from nioh 2 where you have to collect a lot of them? to increase base healing? cause those were really tedious

I wish there was more information about how companions work. Are they like Code Vein, where they're around all the time and can heal or even resurrect you? Or are they like Elden Ring where they are only available at approved points and are generally not reliable if your looking for them to be able to hold their own.

If its anything like Nioh, the NPCs appear at set points (for story reasons) and leave at set points. They also weren't able to revive you.

@Mior Akif In therwords, the "effectively useless" model. That would be...unfortunate. It's unfortunate as a firm believer in going the distance, if your going to have a feature. If you're going to be salty about it, or half-ass it, then spend those resources elsewhere. Add another dungeon/boss. Don't be like Wargaming or Enlisted who added coop begrudgingly to their games, but then made the progression so minute as to make the modes completely unviable to the target audience for such a mode (people who don't give a darn about playing pvp ever). On the positive side, the seemless coop is a definite plus... providing they don't gate it by shoving pvp down your throats like Elden Ring. Thankfully, if all else fails, they did confirm power leveling being a thing. How true that is remains to be seen. Givin that a functional leveling system is basically anathema to everything a Souls title is, I remain skeptical to say the least.

Niohs npc allies werent useless even when youre god teir because they at least make effective tanks and dont incur you the extended enemy hp a souls npc would. Nioh 2 also had an option to summon npc controlled player avatars and players themselvs. An npc avatar basically beat the hardest boss of nioh 2 for me when i hit a wall on him, litterally the first one i picked just did that shit lol. So not useless Somethings not just halfassed by not being what you want.

This looks cool. I played a bit of Nioh 2 and it kicked my ass, but I've always intended to go back and play it through. Maybe picking this up will rekindle my interest in that, as well.

It kind of looks like Nioh had an orgy with Dead or Alive, ninja Gaiden, and Dynasty Warriors and then sekiro jumped in as well. How are you reviewing already though?

Played the second demo and I definitely enjoyed it, especially the combat system. Only downside I could name so far are the map designs. For being so small and linear, they do look really bland.

@@Banskie the estetic of the game look really cool.. usually when they make these type of games they fir some reason always have the character carry the begger weapons on one sholder, here i see the character holds the war glaive like they would do in a movie, one hand a lil on the back, looka fantastic.. A little detail but does make you enjoy those little things

Player levels and morale rank are completely separate you don't lose levels when you die. I feel you explained this really poorly, almost turned me off the game.

you probably haven't played nioh..nioh and soulsborne are not the same games..nor do they play the same..and normally this is nioh 2.1 when it comes from the same studio..and this is what we all wanted who love nioh..nioh 3..
