Ottmar Liebert is not a traditional flamenco guitarist like Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo or other Cordoba guitarists. I advice him to guitarists like Jesse Cook, Armik, etc. But I think, he plays nice music.

Nothing to do with flamenco. Student level technique. Worse than mediocre composition. Other than that, he's great.

I disagree. Ridiculous to say he just has student level technique. He has great intonation and clean technique. True, he doesn't play flamenco puro, but his "falsettas/riffs" are extremely nice. He created his own niche aka flamenco nouveau. No need to compare him to the flamenco greats of Spain, they both have admirers. Btw, I've been to Spain, and admire Diego Gastor and other greats; any creator of beautiful music brings happiness to the world. It's not easy, let's see what the critics have produced....
