According to the organizers, it's been in the works for awhile and the time's arrived. They said the flight time will be between 6/30 to 7hours and it's going to be twice a week. It's a great honor to you and your team in having privileged to meet the Prime Minister of Barbados; who recognized the mission you embarked in connecting our brothers and sisters anywhere in the world, especially in the Americas/Caribbean. @nidan229710 ай бұрын
@oscaralison Barbadian is the official name for people from Barbados. Bajan is the original name of the dialect spoken in Barbados but over time it became the nickname for Barbadian. A person from Barbados will always refer to themselves as Barbadian in a formal setting or when identifying themselves to someone from a different country. If the conversation is not official then most Barbadian would use either Bajan or Barbadian. I know that other islands just use Bajan and most are unaware that it is just a nickname but in Barbados both Barbadian and Bajan is used frequently.

My family lived in Barbados for 12 years and I agree it is a paradise. When we lived there Mia Mottley was the Deputy Prime Minister, I am always proud and impressed by her as a leader and as a woman. It is a well-run, efficient, organized and civilized, country. Her ability to explain issues so simply speaks to her genius. While we have lived in the United States and continue to live in the Caribbean, Barbados remains my home of choice. I will never forget Carols by Candlelight on the lawn of the Prime Ministers' residence and the way that everyone stayed and cleaned the area after the event, it speaks to the pride that Bajans have in their country.
