I am born and raised in Angola but let me tell you that, Zambia is much more developed (in terms of education, tidyness, polite people, great management... and hardworking people) than our country. why having highrises, express roads, gated communities, expensive cars with empty bellies?

No, it's super corrupt. The politicians funneled a lot of wealth out of the country. If it was well managed Angola would be more developed than South Africa, Rwanda and Ghana combined just based on natural resources

Unfortunately the countries riches are politicians working for the government they dont want exposuregf plus the tourism industry minister dont understand marketing estrategies to unlock the potencial of the country is a diverse and a beautiful country but theres no incentive for tourism

@therobloxside1597 they need to have a stats backed outlook. If the previous countries that Wode Maya has visited shared their data, you would find they have seen an exponential increase in tourists. In my country tourism brings in over 100m USD and we are a small country, so it's a huge return. Angola would easily hit a billion I'm sure.

@@sergioozar8394 true I met many Angolans in Pretoria because I am studying Portuguese at Unisa and I made a lot of Kambas (ndenges and Kotas), I even watched Angolan shows like Fala Angola, Zap and etc ( Na casa da minha tia Angolana Berta) and I even ate funge de bom bom and many Angolan food (ela cozinhou). I can say Angolan people are very nice especially if you know Portuguese and something about Angola for example History and even Angolan languages like Kimbundu, Umbundu, KiKongo, Tchokwe and etc.

In reality, Africa needs severe and urgent birth control programs, as the population of most countries on that continent is growing at explosive rates, threatening the entire planet. Because of this, they are already exporting Africans even to South America!

Nice to learn Kimbundu ❤ it's one of the major linguistic groups of Angola. We have about 8 different traditional languages plus some 20 subgroups of those. Also, the national languages (that's how we call the traditional languages) tend to be more spoken in the rural areas and less so in the cities. My practical advice would be to learn Portuguese at the same time (because it's spoken everywhere). If you know a bit of Spanish, you'll be easier to learn Portuguese because they are very similar languages. If you visit Angola, you'll probably use Portuguese 95% of the time. And you'll be most welcome irmão 🙏🙂 Abraço de Angola 🙏

When we talk about Angola, it reminds me of the late captain Kojo Tsikata ,a Ghanaian mercenary who fought in the savagely Angola war. Ya'll well done, Angola.

I believe Capt Tsikata (Ghana Army) was sent by President Kwame Nkrumah as a mil adviser to the MPLA. Decades ago, I saw a photo of him and MPLA comrades in the bush.

Yes, however, the government is to blame, too much red tape. CAN 2010 was great to open up the country, if we had a good government by now we should be planning for another CAN.

Bem, português é uma das línguas mais faladas pelo o mundo fora. Eu acho que a maioria das pessoas não conhecem Angola ou outros países africanos que são ricos por causa dos estereótipos. A Namíbia e o Botswana também são considerados como países relativamente estáveis e com um alto índice de desenvolvimento, contudo pouca gente conhece esses países também.

Thanks for sharing, I was excited waiting for this Angolan footage. Thanks for promoting us, just a curiosity. Before the colonization we were one single kingdom(Angola, Gabon, DRC Congo and Congo). And you can see a mix of people in Angola who derived from those countries that's why we are so diverse.

Beautiful country and beautiful people ❤There is a very notorious prison here in the states called Angola. You pretty much have to made of steel to survive in there. I know our people who have been subjected to that prison tap into the spirit of our Angola ancestors in order to survive! The people of Angola have a no quit attitude.
