So many think it meant "to be without any mistakes at all", therefore they interpret it to be to mean that it was impossible to keep the commandments. Yet, the context shows that it is about loving our enemies, and if we cannot do that, we are sinning

Sorry for not seeing this comment. These things just fly under the radar sometime. Please email me at dschneidsz@gmail.com if you would be interested in dialoguing more, or a phone call. I happened to just go on a trip to Texas this last week. I wish I could have seen this comment earlier.

I have decided to renounce my false support for Just War and divorce and remarriage. Brother David Bowden from Bartow FL convicted me over this through a personal conversation (and so did the Holy Spirit)

Amen brother, a righteous Judge cannot condemn the innocent, i.e. victims made to sin. Therefore God DID NOT create a sinful nature, the translations that translate σαρξ (that means flesh) as "sinful nature" were led by demons, mistranslating. God made flesh vulnerable and temptable so that by his choosing suffering rather than pleasure, as did Jesus, he or she glorifies God, having defeated the tempting devil.

False interpretation. He literally said perfect. Your definition of perfection is not God's.
@SCHNEIDSz4 жыл бұрын
Could you expound on what you mean by that. What is God's definition of perfection?
@rainerwinkler81884 жыл бұрын
@@SCHNEIDSz Literally perfect. "even AS MY FATHER in heaven is perfect." That includes omnipresence
@SCHNEIDSz4 жыл бұрын
Why would God command us to be omnipresent?

@@SCHNEIDSz so you believe you can compromise God's perfection?

@@rainerwinkler8188 I believe that Jesus is telling us to be perfect as the Father in a way that is achievable. In the context, we can be like the Father by loving even our enemies. If we love our enemies, then we will be perfect as the Father. Do you think it is possible to love your enemies?
