Williams has had 2 knee surgeries in 3 years and is just a rim runner offensively. I could see Ayton for Brandon Ingram. Both are probably overpaid but Ayton is a better roster fit for New Orleans and Ingram would let the Blazers go with Clingan at center. Ayton has 2 years left on his contract versus one for Ingram.

Yeah, very simple really. The Hawks are a poverty franchise, who hold zero leverage in trade negotiations. The league knows they're cheap, and dont want to pay a lot of luxury tax to compete, so it's easy to take players from them for 60% of their value, because Atlanta's front office is dog sh1t.

@jaggysports Young is a morr high profile name, and a very high draft pick. It's more likely, the odds of him getting traded go DOWN with this move, as they're already under the cap. Young is most likely gone after the season.
