Interesting; he thinks we hate immigrants more than we like money? The poor Britons were the ones that swayed the vote to leave, I grew up dreadfully poor and now I'm disabled so I'm still poor. I voted leave, not because I hate foreigners, but because I could see how much the country had changed to keep the poor down under Tony Blair. We used to rely on apprenticeships to train our lesser educated to give them a good job and a comfortable life, now employers demand college and University qualifications for entry level positions because they've been spoiled with the wealth of choices of potential employees from around the world (I know someone with a bloody Masters degree in economics that works as a customer service rep for B.T. why would these companies bother training us when they can get a massively over qualified person from abroad for far less?), they have purposely made it harder for poor Britons to elevate themselves. This puts pressure on literally everything because this country (that still has many Victorian roads and infrastructure) was never built or designed to cope with such a massive influx of people in so short a space of time. No one I know voted leave because they hate foreigners (I've always found that the posh and the immigrants hate us working class people way more than we dislike them, even though with have the greater justification) they voted leave to punish the corporations that have marginalised the white working class, the people who were exploited to build this country... And we are yet to benefit from it, it's given to everyone else instead and people are getting angry about it, all the laws and schemes designed to elevate foreigners, giving them way more chances than any British person (I'm not talking about citizensz I mean REAL Britons). There is a movement in my small town to have us break away from England and become an independent state and it is well supported by the people who have always lived here but we are now out numbered by people from elsewhere... There's about 130,000 in my town (,20 years ago that number was smaller by over half, it's all 'Londoners' (none of them look like the Londoners I remember going through the blitz but they still act like they're special because they 'survived' it. They aren't even old enough to have been alive then! And their families mostly came here after the Second World War had ended) that have massively increased the population and with that comes massive house price increase, my mum paid £3,000 for her ex-council house, the house next door to her just sold for £325,000, it had no double glazing, no central heating and some of the upstairs floors had been damaged which in turn damaged the downstairs ceilings, £325,000 for a house you can't live in. An Indian couple bought it and now they rent it out to what I can only describe as scum, when they first moved in they were throwing their dogs shit over the fence into my mum's garden, they had to get a security camera just to prove who it was to the police, now they have really loud parties going on until 04:00-05:00 every weekend just to piss my parents off. It's going to be sorted soon though, I'm taking my 5,000 watt D.J. equipment to their house, my parents are going to stay with us and we are going to leave the music on constantly, full blast for a week, just to teach them a nice lesson. This was the neighbour on the other side of my mum's house that suggested this, they knew I had the equipment as I D.J'd for their daughter's birthday free of charge (I'm not very good but I enjoy it) so all the neighbours except the scum have made arrangements to turn the sound off on their cameras but leave the video feed on so if the scum try to break in to my mum's house we will get an alert and we can have a reason to sort them out. More 'Londoners' or that's what they call themselves... They weren't even born here! Edit* that Indian couple only respired the ceilings and floors, they made it possible to live in but not comfortable, still no double glazing and they only had one radiator installed which, for some weird reason, they had installed in the kitchen! I didn't think it was legal to rent out a house without some kind of heating system but they are charging £1,600 a month (not including water and other utilities) for a house, if I'm honest, is a shit hole, all the houses on that estate are, they were built to last 50-70 years and then the plan was to tear them down and re-build better ones. Bloody stupid plan, how do you re-house 5,000 households when the only houses being built in our town cost over £500,000, and the average wage round here is £21,000 per annum. They clearly aren't intended for us so we have to live in houses that have mold on literally every wall and there are so many holes in the outer pebble dashing that even with all the windows and doors closed, we can still hear the wind whistle through the holes... And the the double glazing doors and windows they installed 20 odd years ago should have been replaced twice by now but when the glazed unit breaks down (,two sheets of glass either side of an aluminium spacer ba, that's filled with something called dessicant, it absorbs moisture if it gets into the unti but the stuff they seal the unit with is a tar like substance called hot melt, it has a limited life, as does the dessicant, as soon as one fails the whole unit needs to be replaced but now our council (I'm disabled so I couldn't afford to buy my own house and the Army didn't help at all when I was medically discharged) refuse to replace them so we only have 4 individual units (the sealed unit is the combined glass and spacer bar etc that is sealed and installed in the frame, for context) out of 23 that haven't broken down and fog up when it's cold or wet. 4. And none of the windows or doors seal properly because the gaskets that are supposed to seal the windows and make them 'air tight' have perished or had already fallen off before we moved in but they refuse to make any repairs, instead they suggest we keep the heating on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They even put an airblock in our front room to try and help with the mold but it made it far worse so now it's freezing, damp and moldy. No wonder all of my children have a form of breathing difficulty! I'm not racist but I don't care if people think I am, we need to stop letting others prevent us from fighting back to make our lives better, they suppress our right to free speech and introduce laws that discriminate against native Britons so we can't challenge the injustices that are heaped upon us. We need to work together to make sure equality actually means what it says on the tin because, right now, equality just means the ethnic cleansing of the people's native to our lands. No one wants to do anything about it though, we are all too busy chasing after the next material possession rather than concentrating on the health of our bodies and minds. Michael Jackson sang a good song that is relevant, Man In The Mirror, we all need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves; we we okay with being replaced by people that hate the country our ancestors built? These people probably wouldn't be alive without the advances made In Great Britain but Scotland deserves special praise (if you ask that Greta Thunberg twat she would insist that you are criticised because the world's population would be much smaller without something as common to us as Penicillin), a small country that produces some of the best minds this world has ever seen. Without Alexander Flemmings accidental discovery of Penicillin the world's population would be far smaller (one research paper I saw estimated that there would only be about 2 billion people rather than the near 8 billion we have now and that's just without Penicillin, what about the other advances? Africa would be empty without the efforts made by white people to cure that AIDS. So many things came from this country that improved the every day lives of every person on this planet and yet the only thing anyone ever mentions is slavery, as if Great Britain invented slavery! As if white people weren't slaves, even slaves to black people. Maybe people should taught about the origin of the word 'slave' because it might open their eyes, but I doubt it. They don't want to listen and learn they want to ruin us. And now history is being re-written to give others credit for our creations; football, what we know as football, comes from England, now China are trying to claim it even though the game they play is closer to a cross between basketball and Lacrosse. Even Alexander Flemmings discovery is starting to be attributed to others, our history and achievements are being black washed!

When I heard about this a week or so back on social media, I said I wondered how long it would take for it to be cancelled. Seems now it is unlikely the pilot will even make it to air, probably will not even be filmed. Frankie Boyle was smart-he knew there was no future for his routine, so went woke/pandered to the wokesters, knowing the BBC would go from firing him for joking about a woman's nose to throwing insane money at him for saying how much he would like to kill Trump with a bunch of uber leftie alleged comics etc. BBC has an endless schedule for left wing comedians/political commentators with no complaints, yet as soon as they announce one show to try to add some tiny level of balance the left cancel brigade are crying blue murder.
@zzota2 жыл бұрын
I thought Frankie Boyle was persona non grata after making jokes about Katie Price's son. Apparently, if you're leftie enough it doesn't matter what you say. If you're not a Marxist, not only are you 'far right' but things you haven't even said are offensive. Strange world we live in.

I'm an old grannie & can find humour in the most serious & ridiculous situations. I'm bloody sick of these people who're trying their level best to shut humour down. I've laughed, joked & swore my way through many situations that the woke of today would be crying about, or saying it's not fair & to them I say, " tough tittie your wokeness, but life isn't fair. " Laughing has made me cope & saved my sanity many times. I was blessed with a quick wit & can see the funny side of most things. My life's not been an easy one & had it not been for my sense of the ridiculous, I wouldn't have managed so well. Throughout WWII the British were renowned for having the ability to laugh at themselves, where the hell has that ability gone, are we now weaned off it as toddlers ! Everything is taken very seriously nowadays, which makes it even harder for people like me to keep a straight face.

I also believe that humour allows us to weather difficulties in life. The reason the current woketards hate humour is because when you are laughing at something you can't simultaneously pretend to be this outraged, indignant, morally superiour beacon of light for the rest of humanity.

So, so true Leo. I was left leaning for most of my life, and a big comedy fan, ‘but’ have become so disenchanted with BBC comedy over the years. It has become so left biased and essentially the same jokes keep getting recycled. I am now right leaning, but would like to see a broad base of comedy; we need views from all sides - we can still laugh at our own expense. It is like sweet & sour, you enjoy both the more for the contrast.
@Kalarandir2 жыл бұрын
I have been more than left leaning all my life, and when I look at what passes for the left today I do not consider them to be of the left. They identify as left, well, I identify as an attack helicopter .😁 It don't make it so. I am still very left wing in my politics and economics, but according to today's left I am a right wing Nazi. You are probably still left leaning, and just not wanting to be associated with a bunch of moronic overeducated self centered elitists.

I do remember someone jokingly identifying as an attack helicopter which at the time was funny (can't remember who it was) I find it funny that some go to comedy clubs just so they can be offended. I never liked Roy chubby brown but never for a moment wanted him cancelled. People go to have a laugh and forget for a few hours, and if the comedy's shit word spreads and the comedian can either evolve or sink. We don't need the woke , or race baiters. They are the minority for a reason, the normal majority just get on and enjoy while sneering at these wannabe Hitlers.

I think most people prefer comedy that's genuinely good natured. i.e. it doesn't come from a place of loathing or hate like it does with woke people. While some good natured comedy can take the mickey out of someone, it does so in jest and no malice is intended. You could make light fun of someone during a routine but you'd be happy to buy them a drink and shake hands off-stage afterwards. Compare that with what most comedians on TV say - I'm convinced they'd find punching their victim off-stage absolutely hilarious. 😒 Leo - it's been great seeing you on GB News recently. 👍

Back in the 1970s, if a comedian wanted a laugh, they just had to tell a mother-in-law joke. 4 years ago they said "Donald Trump, what a c***", now it's about Attack Helicopters. I’ve thought of a very very unique piece of stand up for a black comedian. So the comedian says “hey, having parents from Nigeria/ Jamaica/ Ghana (or where ever their parents are from) is rough.” They then put on the accent of their parent and make a joke about beating them as a child. Honestly, I don’t think I have ever seen this comedy genius and definitely no black comedian has done this skit. Totally unique and obviously absolutely original and hilarious.
