This is total truth…we toured a college with our daughter in 2018, and these other parents who were on our tour asked the person who was giving the tour if they had any cleaning provided. So the guy said that they do have someone who cleans the hallways and common spaces. They said “no, do they have someone who will come in and clean their sons dorm room”. I almost fell over.

Man, can I relate to this video sketch! My Christian, conservative 18 year-old son will be starting his freshman year at the University of Oregon this fall. I had “the talk” with him about UO being an extremely woke and liberal left school. I asked: “Why do you want to go to the University of Oregon, Greg?!” He looked me in the eye and said: “Because that’s the best place to find broken people... and bring them to God.” Right out of the Book of Acts! He will have a raging river to swim against up there. That is wonderful that he desires to shine the light of the gospel in a place of darkness. Will pray that God gives him the strength to remain steadfast in his faith while the culture around him will try their hardest to tear it down. Also I pray he finds a solid church to connect with while he is there. He will need the encouragement of other believers and solid biblical teaching to reinforce his convictions and feed his soul while in a spiritual desert.
