How do you steam food in a wok? What is the best way?

Really useful, I've been steaming dimsum in a huge steamer in my wok for years

I love dim sum! Particularly dishes like baby octopus, tripes, and chicken feet! The steamer is far more useful than I realize. Recently, I discovered that I could use the steamer to make hard boiled eggs rather than boiling them in water. They turned out well.

I go straight for a rice cooker for this. My yosukata carbon steel wooden handled wok didnt come with anything.

Think to protect my Wok, ill just use a non stick, cheap pot, put a stand in, then place the bamboo steamer over that.
