This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Everything is perfect about it. From the top to the end. The order of the songs, the music videos, the whole concept. The sounds, the melody, the drums patterns, the voices. And this song is the best way to end the record. The music video is just so beautiful and emotional, it gives me hope.

Truthfully, I didn't think this song was about friendship. I thought it was about dealing with loss/grief. "And the sun goes down, as it must come up" just feels like every ending has a new beginning, and I found that extremely comforting.

LIstening to this album has been such a healing experience for me. I love how understanding and filled with compassion specially this song is but how they don't just pat us listeners on our backs but also calls people out on their bullshit, specially on "The Last Man on Earth". Totally. The guitars in this song could easily have come from an Angelo Badalamenti soundtrack, and the whole atmospheric sound + vision here reminds me a lot of the KLF's Build a Fire, which rips off the Twin Peaks bassline.

They played this song live in Lisbon but it didn't sound as good as the studio version. It's very difficult to match the ethereal ambient of the studio version with all the reverbs and delays. Loved the concert tho, and the album, and the band
