Wolf Barb Horker Showcase | Diablo 2 Resurrected

Time to show the Barb some love with this unique Wolf Barb Build. It's super tanky and is a great alternative build for Travincal Horking. I'll go over the Skills, Gear and Showcase the build in action on Players 1 and Players 8. Please excuse my tired brain on this one.

Wolfbarb so underrated. On hardcore it feels like the only class you can run any content with and not have to worry much. I ran mine with a 414 ed ebotd thundermaul though but your set up is sick.

11:33 Unless I'm missing something I don't think if you are mainly using Beast in offhand you'd need to go axe mastery because Feral Rage is 1-handed and Beast gets no benefit from any mastery.

The cost of running 3 damage auras simultaneously is definitely not cheap but it's nice try out different builds

I’m so tired of these kinda builds. I get excited I may have found a new build to try with my new barb because I just found this helm. I come on here and I’ll I need to do is find 30 high runes and I’m good to go. Sadly on SP, I’m just struggling by with my ok gear.

I do this with enigma so it's also real fast to get there from the wp it's fun. Do all my buffs at the wp, tele to trav, then transform.

Grief+ Wolfhowl is all you need for trav run everything can stack MF if you hit the Attack speed breakpoint. Probably cheapest and most survival built. Feral rage Lifesteal is crazy. As of offhand you only get the Might aura, you are not casting life tap. and crushing blow don't apply since only the mainhand crushing blow/ deadly strike applies to your attack.

why DW with feral rage? It only uses the main hand weapon.. is it just for the might aura from the off hand?

Offhand still gets benefit from the stats of whatever is equipped, so yes, using it for auras and procs

Yes only Main Hand (Left), Off Hand (right) in Wolf/Bear is just for stats.

Are we sure offhand procs (CB, CTC, etc.) are triggered while in wolf form? @@RNGesus_Channel Your LT never triggers in this video and I believe the game only recognizes your chance at DS/CB/OW/etc. if you strike WITH that weapon; its not a passive boost like if those stats are on boots (gores) or hat (gface).

@@RNGesus_Channel pretty sure only when struck procs are triggered from unused off-hand weapon. on striking and on attack are not triggered when using skills that only use main hand.

@nikzel yep and fade is a on struck proc which we get full benefit of as well as the might aura to buff main hand damage

I made the logo and music. The 'I am your doom ' voice clip is an unused soundbyte of Duriel from the game files. I haven't gotten around to fixing the font yet, I just wanted to get the channel up and running but I will fix that eventually.

Probably best not to use a cold merc and use fire instead. Less corpses if they explode while chilled.

I had that thought initially also, I realised she very rarely kills anything tho, so I wasn't too worried. It's probably for the best to go fire in case she gets the last shot in

I don't think the life tap can proc since you don't use your offhand.

You're right, the only procs in offhand are when we get hit, but depending on situations I sometimes swap it to main hand to take advantage of the stats

+3 warcry spears are not a good choice for prebuff because your werewolf transform won't benefit from + to warcry. Hoto boosts your werewolf transform and your BO etc. If you can't afford hotos, dual spirit would be arguably better than +3 warcry spears.

You don't get the magic damage like you would from berserk, so you are relying on elemental damage sources from your weapon. A bone break sunder would help. It's definitely the weak point of the build

Basically with all Melee builds in the game Grief is just better than everything else. This build relies heavily on having a good strong main hand weapon and then stacking damage auras. In terms of budget, this works with almost anything half decent at lower player counts but starts to struggle at the higher player counts with out things like Grief, Fortitude etc. You can run things like Death Cleaver and a Spirit Shield etc. until you get better gear and it will be fine P1-P3

A budget weapon that you can use is Oath in Eth Barlog Blade.But you should stick to p1-3 with it if you play on SP.

Honest question. Wouldnt 2x 3bo ctas be better for prebuff than hotos since they give 3bo plus 1 to all skills so technically 4 bo each

That would give you more BO, the best in slot is the Hoto tho cause the all skills buffs werewolf also

@@RNGesus_Channelit doesn’t, os skill on the origin class max at +3, two CtA with +3BO each will give +3 to BO only, not +6 The best setup is 3 wc jav with off hand with CtA with 3BO and the extra +1 to all skill

Dual CTAs dont stack. You can use one and one hoto. As mentioned dual Hotos is better

Well as you can see in the video it didn't actually make any difference having it on there. But if you want to be safe, cham the helm and swap the raven. Hire a fire merc, problem solved.

Can run P8 general game play fine. The reason I didn't run Trav P8 is because each Council Member (both super Unique and normal) get 3 picks from the Council Member drop table. The player difficulty only affects the nodrop chance, showing a huge jump between p1 to p3, a smaller difference between p3 to p5, and almost negligible between p5 and p7. For this reason it is advised to farm on p3 unless your run speed is equal on p5 or p7. In this case the player kill speed is optimal at P3, which what I showcased.

If you knew anything you would understand diminish returns.... He could clear players 3 5x faster then players 8 he will get way more loot doing so then messing around on 8..... Also loot only gets boosted on players 3 5 7 the rest is just a exp. Anyone playing on players 8 other then for exp grind has very low iq.

Raven frost is trash never use that..... It breaks the bodies and you get less loot Gface with cham rune is king

Yeah, I did mention you could Cham the helm and remove raven. cold damage is not ideal when horking. Not all bodies will smash but a couple probably will. Don't hire the cold mercs either!
