I was holding back tears the entire song. When he started singing "There's nothing out here", I couldn't hold them back anymore. This is the Wolf Parade I fell in love with.

I always come back to this song. Timeless in the way it touches my soul. Thank you, Wolf Parade.

This band don't just do songs, they do gut wrenching epic tales of loss and love and everything in between. Hugely underrated.

The best song on Expo 86 and possibly the best thing Wolf Parade has ever done, in terms of sheer emotional force and resonance.

I go around tons of songs thinking "This must be the most beautiful song ever", On Melancholy Hill, Friday I'm In Love, you name it, then when I hear Yulia i almost want to cry... it is by FAR the most beautiful thing ever written, EVER. This is the essence of a beautiful song, so filled with purpose, I love it! SO MUCH! Thank you Wolf Parade, for the one song i have actually cried to!

I first heard this song when I was at Airborne school, at Fort Benning. The first time we got ready to jump, and I had my helmet and chute ready, I was terrified, but somehow remembering this song made it all seem a little more easier. I've listened to this song on almost every jump since.

I have no clue why Wolf Parade isn't one of the most listened to musicians. I tell everyone I know about them and the worst retort I've gotten was "yeah they're really good".

They're very early-2000s indie. What that means is there's a hundred bands that sound just like them.

True, but could also be based on the story of Vladimir Komarov. As the Soyuz 1 plummeted down to Earth he apparently cursed the ground control for letting him die and gave them a message for his wife.
@garchompenthusiast5 жыл бұрын
The lead singer got it from the Lost Cosmonauts theory and a documentary on the Soviet space program, but unfortunately, Komarov never cursed ground control and never mentioned his wife It's a good story though, and a much more likely theory than most
