I live in Chicago and bought my scooter in April 2022. I have about 750 miles on it now. I'm 5' 10.5", 215 lbs, and pretty athletic for 50. I use it to commute to work, and long joy rides ALL day on Saturday and Sunday in downtown Chicago. @ Electron Surfer you hit all the main points I found the hard way!! I wanted to share my agreement and (being a Registered Nurse) share a few observations if you don't mind: The Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11+ is my very FIRST scooter (probably not recommended) and an absolute beast!! SERIOUSLY!! I admit that I love speed and power; boy, I get it all with this scooter. Consequently, I gear up fully all the time because I love to ride on the streets with cars, and I don't even want to get touched. So invest fully in your safety gear- a helmet with lights, vest and hard body gear with lights front and back, gloves, BODY CAMERA, padded shorts, knee and shin guard, and even shoes if you can afford it. Did I say LIGHTS?! I especially love night riding, so safety and being very visible is paramount. This scooter is very heavy, powerful, and fast (watch out for the kickstand...). Because I ride long distances (depending on the surface) and I'm not comfortable switching my stance, my back foot hurts after about an hour. I bought 2 superchargers to cut down on charging time, but one regular and one super is at least a must-have. Invest in the punctureless tires right away; you will thank me later. The rims are cast iron, but watch out for potholes because they can dent, and the repair is a bitch (been there). Find an e-scooter group in your area and a local repair shop. Despite what they say, riding at high speeds, particularly with rougher surfaces, will produce a handle wobble. If you love speed like I do, invest in the damper immediately. DO NOT RIDE WITH ONE HAND OR WAVE HELLO!! At 110 lbs, this scooter is heavy (garage kept), and I love it that way. But if I hit someone or a car, it will definitely make a serious dent. This scooter REQUIRES liability insurance in Illinois, and I'm grateful- got it! The horn sound is adjustable. Familiarize yourself with the P-settings and what they do. If suddenly your scooter won't go past 11 mi/hr, you accidentally messed up your speed limit under the P-setting. The ABS brakes give you longer brake life, but the sound is annoying; although it is a nicer option than using the horn, people nearby can easily hear it when engaged. Make sure you can ride on your path, as some have reported getting hefty tickets for illegal riding and lack of safety gear. Watch a safety video on riding surfaces and rain; this scooter is not cheap, nor is your health. From the trail to the streets, you will not be disappointed with the Kaabo Warrior Wolf 11+. This scooter will definitely blow your hair back, and you will not go unnoticed on the street. MONEY WELL SPENT!! This is NOT an advertisement- but a HUGE shout-out to Voro Motors for their customer service and timely part delivery. I like your "Notify me when a part is in" feature (I'm still waiting for that damper). Notice- when they say "it's in"- order it! Chicago loves you, and there is a growing Wolf Pack roaming the Windy City. @ Electron Surfer- Great video, guy!! @ Everyone else- Ride safely and live well!!

I just want to say that this is an exceptionally good, honest, practical review. I was really surprised by your findings off-road and from seeing how the vibration up through the stem made your hands shake, even on slightly rough roads. I wonder if this is because the suspension is built to allow riders up to 330lbs and you are clearly well inside that - could that mean that you simply didn’t have the mass to make the suspension work as designed? (If so, a degree of adjustment would seem prudent - or maybe the option to match shocks to your typical weight). Sadly the fact I live in an apartment with no first floor access to mains power likely means this isn’t an option for me… but this was an excellent overview for a regular potential rider. Thank you.
@ElectronSurfer2 жыл бұрын
I really appreciate that, most all the other reviews just gush how this is the best thing in every respect. The offroad ride would likely get a little better after putting some miles on it, the non-adjustable front shocks would soften a little. I really think all scooters should have adjustable shocks, hopefully they start to be made that way. Lugging this beast up stairs would not be fun but if you want speed and a stem that is super solid, this thing sure has it!

First of all, you need to let some of the air out of the tires. I am certain that they are pumped too tight for your weight. Also, when you ride slow you are going to feel the road a great deal more, rather then gliding over rough patches and bumps. The front suspension is the only real shock absorption on that scooter and for lighter weight people it may not give a great deal. I think you can try running a lighter weight oil in them and they will soften up some. I saw a video on the Wolf GT which has the same forks in which the guy tells you what oil and the right weight to use to make the forks more supple. The rear is really just 2 springs and 2 bushings. You can buy softer bushngs for the rear. You will want to get a pair of cup style washers too that are big enough to fully cup the diameter of the bushings in order to help protect them from damage. The stock washers are too small and they also do not cup the bushings to support them from over spreading and splitting. It's a design flaw that requires almost everyone to have to replace the bushings after not much use, but it does matter how hard the scooter has been ridden as well. In any case, I am certain that a set of cup washers to cradle and support the underside of the bushings will go a long way toward providing the support to help preserve their shape and prolong their life. Just telling you because that scooter should ride easier for you then you are reporting it is. So, like I said my first inclination is the tire pressure is a few pounds too high and then those other ideas will help to soften the ride as well! Also, remember the slower you ride especially when you are off road the more the surface is going to conduct to the scooter.

I was told it was that the motor can get set in there slightly off line. The fix was to loosen the axle bolts and reseat the motor, by either using your weight or a rubber mallet. I had the same knocking and doing this did seem to solve the problem.

Thank you for the review. Honestly. My thoughts are that most scooters, including the 11+, have many fine tune adjustments to satisfy rider weight, terrain, etc. It just feels disingenuous to review a scooter offroad without making a single adjustment to the shocks or checking out the lubrication on the stanchion. I watched every bit of the video and thoroughly appreciate the commentary throughout. Reviewing a scooter whose top speed is purported to be 50+ mph yet top speed in the video barely touches 20mph is just odd. I get the trails and the very necessary need to respect pedestrian, but this review is a disservice to the title.
@ElectronSurfer2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching the video and taking the time to comment. I like the idea that I could be commuting and just take a side trail on a whim, if you were to do real off-roading (I don't recommend scooters for this at ALL) then adjustments would be required. I don't see how observing legal speed limits is odd but you are not the first to say this, and I understand. I want electric scooters to stay around and encouraging people to ride at 50+ mph is sure to get e scooters banned, so I choose to ride responsibly. Cheers

@ElectronSurfer3 жыл бұрын
@Steve B, They are getting too powerful honestly, when you have difficulty keeping the tires from spinning, its getting a little ridiculous. When you see that a lot of places the speed limit for these is something in the 15 to 20 mph range, it's kind of like HUH? Slime...well I have a lot of experience. I have also tried a few "nicer" brands of sealant but not yet the Armor-Dillo's. I have repaired as many flats with slime all over inside the tire as I have without. I have also seen sealants squeeze out of little tiny pinholes. I personally think a nicer tire, with a protective bead layer, does much more than sealants. Schwalbe or Continental brands have been great for me on my ebikes. Thanks!
