Hi Robert! I have only used it with Android but iOS setup is similar the main difference is what each company (Apple and Android) calls things in the GUI and how you get to them (the Wi-Fi settings for both are also identical unless you have changed the password) In the case the password was forgotten you can reset the dash cam to it's default settings for it. Hi mobilitytoday! ahh my top dash cam, that's a good question that I get often. I think the best dash cam depends on what you are looking for in a dash cam. I run different ones on my cars so what I usually tell people looking for the right dash cam for them is to start by picking the style of dash cam (Mirror or classic stick). Then how many cameras does it need to have (1, 2 or 3). Now that you have narrowed your selections, consider how much you want to spend on one, that will narrow your choices even further. Then consider any special features you are looking for such as 360° video, Side Camera, Wi-Fi, Parking monitor without hardwire, cloud support, High Frame Rate. Finally you would want to compare video quality (I have several dashcam reviews on my channel under the playlist "dashcams" if you like to compare). Hello bro. I purchased my G840H dashcam somewhere early in 2022. Recently, I saw the recording symbol on the right side was white instead of red! Some clips, both video and pictures taken, were blank! Is it either a problem with the dashcam, SD card, or the software that needs an upgrade? Presently, to sort this issue, I have formatted the SD car, and I'm yet to see the results on my next ride after a few days. Does Wolfbox provide software updates periodically for the older model such as G840H and how to download and install them. I will appreciate your advice. Thanks.

I think you can't go wrong with either one (remember RedTiger is a Wolfbox brand) The G840H has been out longer so we know it's proven and reliable, the T27 is newer and has slightly different features than the G480H and higher resolution, and so far has not given me any issues (but I will update this comment if something changes) you can see those on my full review of the T27 here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmOWlaKGfLKobpI if you like to compare it against the G840H. Hello Alex, I believe that you are fine. Recently, my car was serviced in approved SC and was pressure washed by them. Since then, my wolfbox rear camera display has become blurry, maybe due to moisture in it. How do I dry up the moisture to get a clear view or will moisture dry if exposed to sunlight? Thanks.

Hi Rudolf! Oh no, waterproof cameras for dash cams are usually fully sealed with a potting compound, but they are just waterproof. I can definitely imagine that a high pressure water jet could cause issues. If the condensation clears up, it's still possible that now a path for moisture in the future has been opened and moisture can return. But it's also possible that moisture is now trapped inside, which, unfortunately, in either case, replacement of the rear camera may be required. Cheers!

Dear Alex, thanks for your response which I highly appreciate. It's because the moisture is trapped inside and the display in the centre is blurred. Let me watch until the summer it's summer in India and check daily. If nothing works then I will have to get a WDR camera that seems to be compatible with the G840H. At times aren't we fooled by the latest technologies!

Hi Randy! Ah I have not tested running one off a power pack so I can't comment on that but yes some people do run their dash cams off a battery pack. However I prefer a normal cigarette lighter adapter or standard hardwire kit since here in California we experience really hot temperatures which I would not want to subject the battery to, that and the potential for a run away event (fire) during charging or discharging inside the car. Hai bro. Purchased this same model after watching your review. I have the rear camera installed upside down. While the reverse camera is engaged While reversing, why do objects at the rear seem to be too closer than they are? Also in the same case while driving. The reverse guidelines cannot be adjusted manually. I believe that this feature isn't available and the reverse guidelines don't show the actual distance between my car and the object behind. Is there a solution to the above? Is Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi Rudolf! ah yes remember mirror dash cams will change the perspective of objects due to their wide angle nature vs the narrow view provided by a normal mirror. If the perspective change bothers you, the dash cam can be used with the LCD panel off like a normal mirror or you can use one of this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJKtfpSXq5x5mLc which is the only one in the market currently that allows you to adjust between the wider and narrow view with it's zoom function. But if you decide to stick with your G850 you can see how to adjust the reverse guidelines at the 1:30 mark and if you are on the older firmware you can see how to adjust the guidelines in my original review video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYbFe55pZ8Sea7s Hope this helps, Cheers!

That is strange, the G840H does have fully adjustable reverse guidelines, when you enable parking assist, you can drag either end of each line to the position desired and the dash cam will remember the new guidelines settings, here is the video on how to to do it kzbin.infowmIE0YJ1zWo?feature=share I'm on firmware version 1.7.77.20210821 if it helps. If you are still unable to adjust your guidelines, I would recommend contacting Wolfbox, I'm sure they can walk you thru the adjustment process. Hope this helps, Cheers!
