Hi Mr Smooth! As shown on the video the App is called Wolfbox. If you are on Android, it can be downloaded of Google Play and if you are on an Apple device, it can be downloaded from the App store. Alternatively you can also scan the QR code on the manual and that will take you directly to it. If you still can't find it, I would also recommend contacting Wolfbox for tech support, they may be able to walk you thru the download process. And please keep us posted on your findings. Neat Cam. When I seen the video description say 5g connectivity I was like woah. I thought it was like 5g cellular connectivity via sim card. Would have been cool to access the camera where ever you are with your phone using 5g cellular connection.

on your screen the G-Sensor icon appears and next to it the parking monitor icon, on my i17 it has the income G-Sensor and next to it there is no parking monitor icon, next to the G-Sensor there is the speed unit icon

Hi, I'm curious if this section was edited to be consise 6:47 . It doesn't look so but I'd rather ask before assuming mine might be defective. When I use the app, the live view is fine. Viewing the videos takes a good minute or two to load the thumbnails. Did you have this problem or heard of it happening?

Hi Firewolf! Everytime you go into the playback menu new thumbnails are created for any new videos. So as you can see on the video on my case only a few thumbnails were added since I use the App during testing. Now if it's the first time you are ever using the app and you have a lot of videos already recorded, I can imagine it will take some time for each thumbnail to be created (same as when loading on the videos on your PC and you select thumbnails, it takes some time for the PC to create each one). Yeah, it's a full card. I just have the problem with the phone app and wifi. Pulling out the card takes less time though. Thanks for the reply and thanks for the video! 👍

Yeah definitely much faster to just connect the card to a PC, which is the reason I don't really use the Wifi function on dashcam, even the ones equipped with 5G instead of 2.4G are slower than just dropping the card into my PC (specially 4K files and multi files at a time) Cheers!

Hi Mike! Ah the i17 is a good choice since it records the front and cabin but you will have to get the rear camera (which is separate) to also record the rear in addition to the front. Why does my dash cam not connect automatically when I get in car, start it & have app open. Every time I have to connect it manually 😩. Must be something I’ve not done or have done wrong. Help please!

Hi Jo! Most dash cams will not connect automatically to your phone (some require that you manually turn on their wifi and connect to them and some that allow you to keep the wifi on all the time, sometimes will connect to the dash cam if the dash cam wifi is given priority over other Wifi networks already stored in your phone (and set as default which take precedence of over other wifi's not set to automatically connect on your phone settings). Lol, so it's not true 4k because the IMX335 sensor is only a 5MP sensor. Interpolated 4k it is then...

Correct, IMX335 maxes out at 5MP, if you need native 4K check this one out kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWm8qJmLnMR2fac I would also recommend taking a look at the new generation of Starvis sensors, Starvis 2 exceeds the high dynamic range and sharpness of Starvis 1 sensors (even 4K Starvis 1 sensors) here it is kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZKqnax_jrGKY68 just insane performance. Hi Adventures! Wifi enabled dash cams do not let you see a live view or access the videos while your away from the car, remember Wifi has limited range (same as the Wifi in your home, you can only connect to it when you are home). If you want to connect to the dash cam when your are away from it, for that you would want a Cloud enabled dash cam (They use LTE technology instead of Wifi) like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3Ovp6RojZeGrbM (live video, tracking, notifications to your phone etc.) And I have more dash cam reviews on my channel in the playlist "Dash Cams Reviews" if you like to compare them.
