Here’s a bro tip for night 24, Wolfy: sun bean actually stacks on zombies up to 3 times per zombie. So you can farm triple times Sun Bean’s sun from a single undead. (At least in vanilla it does) and by that you can farm the hell out of castleheads. Try it the next attempt. GL 😄

The super bulky zombies you see in each world aren't variants of the Knight, they're actually variants of Brickhead Zombie from Modern Day, which is basically the next "tier" of headwear zombies after Bucketheads. Browncoats are tier 1, Coneheads are tier 2, Bucketheads are tier 3, and Brickheads are tier 4..... Knights are basically tier 3.5

Well actually the thieves were in the China version and originally would just be invisible and be un-hit-able unless you use plantern. The original is a lot stronger and more of a unique concept rather than a worse Ra. But the invisible-ness might be annoying and the implementation of plantern might’ve been too much. But I guess the sun thief is something.

Actually, I don't think the Bandit Zombie in Reflouroshed is a worse Ra. I can't recall it stealing actual sun. It just kinda walks through the lane and gives a sun upon kill. Like a Yeti that provides sun instead of lunchbox (also moves faster).

@@RedLaundryBasket I believe Reflourished Bandits are more of a threat than Ra, if slightly. They move fast and can sink far into your defense, and can provide a distraction as it enters the lawn alongside 1-2 more bandits and maybe a basic or conehead. You either rush to kill it to get extra income, or miss out on about 225 suns to defend the rest of your lane. And unlike Egypt, Bandit dwells in Dark Ages, which means there is zero falling suns. So while you can easily contest Ra with its attempted sun steal, if a Bandit walks in as the first zombie it has a chance of being able to destroy your Sun-shroom lane or overwhelm your Puff-shroom. Tl;dr: Reflourished Bandit Zombie provides beneficial value that is very great for your late game economy, but could be dangerous when they spawn early and in swarms. At least that's how I see them when fighting them in Endless Zones. They're a pretty cool concept ngl, a zombie that provides value but with a risk.

Pro tip wolfy: When you come across the “you can only have X amount of plants at one time” go completely pyromaniac with the load out. Use all of the plants except 2 for sun production and the rest for blowing shit up with cherry bomb, bomdegranite, grapeshot, both potato mines, escape root and a lot of other options.

Wolfy, you NEED to know this: Sun bean actually stacks up, o if you use the plant-food-instant-recharge thing to recharge Sun Bean and use them on a Castlehead Zombie, you can get crazy sun. Also just don't use Lightning Reed, he simply doesn't have enough damage to do anything to Castleheads.

Sun bean is kinda useful, you can stack them on top of each other to produce more sun; however there is a cap depending on how much total health a zombie has. The Plant food also gives you more sun if there more sun beans stacked on top.

Have you tried the ice letture+springbean+tile turnip? For 275 sun a single plant food gives you a tremendous amount of stalling.

For level 24, smiting the knights and tower head gives like 600+ sun so if you focus all of your plant food on sun beans you will clear that goal easier

Btw wolfy, the other tough zombie variants you've seen (pyramid head, barrelhead, etc...) are not knights, they're tougher than knights, and are instead variants of the modern day brickhead zombie. Knights, fossilhead & the ice block zombie share the same amount of hp, while these worlds have their own seperate version of the brickhead zombie aswell. Also, for a good strategy, try ultomato + sapfling + thyme warp + imitater thyme warp. This can carry you through so many hard levels, although I'd recommend to not over-use it tho, as it may trivialize the gameplay a little bit (especially imitater thyme warp). For worlds where sapfling doesn't work, such as big wave beach, you can use snow pea instead. Also, the reason why sapfling is chosen as the staller, it doesn't damage zombies, and therefore lets you stall the earlygame way better than any other passive staller. It also doesn't blocked, since it shoots the ground, not the zombies themselves. Ultomato also hits shovel zombies, for some reason, even witch zombies when you get to Holiday Mashup.

Actually Fossilhead has slightly more hp than both Blockhead and Knight but you are right. They are in the armor3 category of zombies, same goes for Centurion.

my favorite strat in reflourished is imitated whitch hazel(because of the massive cooldown) primal sunflower as both a sun producer and a wall, Power lily to get sun off the primal sunflowers for hazel, cherry and grapeshot for clearing out large waves when hazels are on cooldown, and any sort of support to slow down zombies (primal snappdragon, sapfling, spikeweeds, ect)

Okay, I'm all for using whatever strategies you want, but PLEASE just drop Lightning Reed, he isn't nearly enough to deal with all the tanky zombies like Knights, that was super evident with the Grapeshot carrying. Magnet-Shroom is a good pick for the armoured zombies, and his plant food MASSIVELY helps with hordes. Edit: Spoke too soon, because the veteran zombie isn't magnetic.

They really just nerfed lightning reed in reflourished despite the plant literally never being good in the first place (it's an easy to use plant, not a good plant.) Some of the balancing changes in reflourished are ridiculously questionable.

Your thyme warp farm is a good strat just use it more because it heals the zombies.

Yeah, the tough zombies you fought before (such as piramid and barrel heads) wasn't actually Knight variants (that would be ice block and fossil heads). The Knight has only 1790 HP total (including both armor and zombie himself) and the Tower head has 2390. Also in this update, the almanac now shows the stats in actual numbers. Like, now you can look up and know that for example normal peashooter deals 20 dmg, basic zombie has 190 hp and etc. And for night 24, you really need to be able to destroy a lot of gravestones and have a solid crowd control, so I would recommend something simple like two columns of fume shrooms (at the range of hitting the graves, of course), magnets Infront to remove buckets and knight helmets, sap-flings (and yes you've unlocked one) at the back to slow em all down and simple instas like squash and cherry bombs to deal with Tower heads. Also sun bean is busted (And sory for ma english)

My tip for that last level is to stop using the damn lightning reeds in a level where 80% of the zombies are knights and your lightning reeds arent even able to hit the king. They give you sunbean, gravebuster and magnetshroom all are amazing for the level why dont you build a strategy around them youre gona get enough sun if youd actually use the sunbean more then twice a level and with magnetshroom you could use even just fumeshrooms to kill them its not that hard.

My set up was Imitater on the Grave Buster, Stickybomb Rice, Caulipower, Celery Stalker, and FumeShroom. . Always use plant food on Stickybomb Rice and remember to always put Sun Bean in front of those Knight and Castel Head. And my advise is 1 column of Caulipower, 1 column of SBR, 2 column of Fumeshroom, 1 column of Magnet shroom, 1 column of nothing than finally 1 column of CS. It get me through this level pretty easy. . Oh and one more thing, once Normal Zombie eat sun bean then the king change him into Knight after that you remove the helmet with Magnet Shroom once they die you get the same amount of Sun as of knight. Idk if that intentional but I got that result 3 times so worth the try.
