If you’re sick of all the Knight equivalent zombies, try using Witch Hazel. It instakills zombies (except Gargs) and turns them into puff shrooms. It also can target zombies in the lanes next to it and prioritizes Wizard Zombies over any other type of zombie making it extremely useful in Dark Ages

Well he should use Electric Blueberry because that one does insta-kill Gargs. Also Pyramid Head and Barrel Head are actually stronger than Knights, Knights are more like Fossil Head, which is weaker than an Amber Head but stronger than a Buckethead.

@R - G - C Issue with Electric Blueberry I’ve found is that it just never targets what you need it to. Witch Hazel, except for it’s Wizard priorities, will target the closest zombie while Elec Blueberry targets a completely random one so, yes it can kill Gargs but it won’t actually target them. Witch also creates minions to help stall zombies a bit.

Wolfy, Guacadile didn't actually stop him, it was you depleting his health to one bar. When you deplete his health bar, he will stop what he was doing (i.e. charging a lane). On another note, there are bulls that charge and destroy the first plant in front. They can also still charge even after throwing the imp. Primal Wall Nut will stop them but will take damage from doing so.

Good idea for beating the bosses is to put short ranged plants in front of the boss like the bonk choy or the fume shroom to do damage. I know that the boss has a melee attack but still its worth it. And well the attack only is in the front. And don't worry about the zombies that spawn and eat the plants because you get lots of plants in those levels. Just defend the zombies until you have a good back defence and you can place plants in the back to defend zombies that got there. And all the defence plants like wall nut can stall pretty well to get more plants to place down immediately to do defend even more.

Since you have every store bought boost, I would recommend using Primal Sunflower a lot more. With sun boost, you can place them down much faster than if you didn't have it. The 3x health that it has compared to most other plants is really helpful, and in most situations can be used as a wall to save a seed slot for more essentials, and with its fast recharge it is basically just a spammable wall.

Bosses get stunned when they lose a part of their health bar, you can use that to your advantage with plant food in order to not get your defense cleared when they charge

one thing that worked for me when playing harder levels in this game is keeping a shadow shroom in the back, and plant fooding in scary scenarios. It poisons all zombies and it basically kills everything but mechs and gargs. if the shadow shroom is boosted by moonflower it just kills everything faster and does more damage to things that don’t die from the shroom. Just a tip to keep in mind that really helped me

Since you can use Thyme Warp in any world now, Imitator Thyme Warp is very strong, as you can stall zombies infinitely when combined with the likes of sap-fling & ice pea. Add coconut cannons to keep blasting zombies as you infinitely stall them, and then you got my strategy that carried me through 80% of the levels where this setup was possible

Having played Relfourished recently, I can't recommend enough the lily of the alchemy plant found in the steam world. It's attacks occasionally poison zombies so it's quite effective against knight variants and it's plant food is stupid good.

Zomboss always gets stunned when you empty a section of the healthbar, the Guacodile just happened to charge at the same time. Also, if you get something like the Power Lilly to stop him, consider placing it 1 tile to the right of your plants. That way, any zombie in the way will be killed by Zomboss while you don't lose your plants.

Iceweed actually really synergizes with fire plants. It's rate of fire means that even when being hit by fire attacks, zombie stay slowed while on iceweed. Also if you can update your game, iceweed gat buffed to 250.

Just like to point out how to install the update. All you have to do is reinstall the .obb file again. The obb file doesn’t hold any information on your save so no worries on getting your save wiped.

There's a glitch where if you put a blover on the square the millisecond a zombie steps on it, it doesn't make you fail the "Don't trample the flowers" challenge. It's pretty easy to do and it makes those levels so much less stressful.
