3 months later, I feel I can comment now since I had a chance to ride it at the meet up last month. That is the smooth E-bike and I wish my dad would get one…my mom too! It was very comfortable and the speed was amazing as well. It felt like you can ride for days on it.

I’d really like to see you guys build you own mid-drive 1000 watt Bafang. You could hookup with another KZbin’er, DIY bike builder with Bafang experience and make something that will blow your socks off ! My build has been way beyond expectations. It has been a work in progress though.

You ever consider just buying a conversion kit and turn a regular bike into a ebike as you can get bafang mid-drive 1000 watt and 52volt battery for half the price of this bike

Some good inexpensive brakes are the Magura MT Trail Sport. 4 piston front and 2 rear. If I wasn’t retired on a fixed income I’d have gotten at least the MT 5 E’s for e-bike. You don’t always get what you want, I definitely get what I need. And I need a bike to keep whatever sanity I have left.

Thank you for noting that e-bikes with a throttle are not legal on a lot of MTB trails. Pedal assist only. A lot of people don't know that.
