13:19 for testing clearance, you just install it and let all the air out, and compress the shock slowly. this also is done for chain length. but the valve won't hit the rocker link. I can tell just by looking at it. the shock compresses so the rocker link rocks forward and down, so the valve is at the shock canister so it just moves along the stanchion.

Jeremiah ( as a frustrated physicist ) I will tell you something : Hydraulics are ( by design ) built to operate under certain rules , shocks ( in this case ) have inner valves for positive flow and return . The air is not there by itself , there's also oil so by inverting the shock , you are messing the way that thing works . The Mongoose Ledge X1 looks so good with the fork and new rear shock. I would have done the same when it comes to mounting the rear shock . Mounting the rear shock upside down doesn't affect the performance of the rear shock at all. Had to do the same thing with my budget full suspension build. If I didn't mount the rear shock upside down the rear pivot would have hit the rebound knob when it compresses.

I would let the air out of the shock and test it through its complete stroke and see if it actually has a problem. If it has to be flipped, well, just flip it, flip it good, you can flip it... Wow, the rebound full slow is syrupy! Molasses baby! I'll be happy to hear how this shock rides. I have an older full suspension bike that uses a 165x38 shock. The old shock is almost 20 years old, and I have rebuilt it about 4 times. It may be about time to replace it.

Hi, do you know how to properly inflate this shock from zero? I mean from a complete zero psi point? I don't seem to be even near to set this up since it has two chambers and two valves, how is it that I have to put like 150 psi being that I'm 50 kg. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and when I check NP it's from 0 to 50 psi so I'm theory it shouldn't be affecting it that much. I don't know and I can't find any info about it :(

Use a piece of 400 grit sandpaper and rough up your brake pads and rotors, alot of times new rotors come with a protective coating almost like a clearcoat and if you don't remove it right away it will cause what's called glazing on your brakes pads which will cause squealing and slippage, also adjust your brakes so they feel good then pull your brake levers tight and zip tie them overnight, this will get all the slack out of your cables, readjust your brakes with the adjustment screws and you're ready to get shredding 🤙
@WOLFTICKVIDEOS3 жыл бұрын
HA HA Sorry to do that to you!! LOL Next week we will realtime review it o you can decide!! ;) Gotts to keep you waiting, now the brakes YES! @@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Thank you I finally took it to a shop and they did just that lol. I tought it something brakes it´s not my fault lol but everything went ok. Now I don´t know how to properly pump it according to my weight. Since it has two valves, I took all the air out of both and proceeded to pump the main chamber to 120 psi and then the negative one to 60 psi But it is just too soft, I´m 50 kg and it sinks like 2cm , I think it is tricky having the two chambers, I must be doiung something wrong since I have to put like 150 psi to make it suitable for my weight which is not ok of course. Could you make a video about how to set it up from 0 psi in both chambers? It´d be soo helpfull, I´m pretty sure I´m skipping something in here. Anyhow thank you for the freat content, I like your videos a lot!

When setting the air for the shock on the temisseur you need to cycle the air shock through it travel to get air in the negative air chamber see if that helps with the set up tick and wolf dad
@WOLFTICKVIDEOS3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, we may do that, now the temissor or the ledge? Temissors got one chamber, but the XR pro has got two-thanks!
@davidgolightly2323 жыл бұрын
Every air shock has a positive and negative air chamber the ledges is to stop with having to cycle the shock in its travel but couldn't hurt to try it on both

Hahaha yeah, we are not for everyone. We have a community that supports us and it's probably alot for someone that just wants some info. If you ever stumble across our channel again, just know that there are usually time stamps in the description for those that don't want the extras. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. If you want to know how something performed on one of our videos, look for the "Realtime Review" episode on that item and you will probably get at least some of an idea of how it performed. Here is the video that you probably should have found on that shock and remember there are time stamps😉🤣. Thanks man👍 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqq5p62soNl_g9U
