From a Wolves fan.... I've seen a lot of away fan vlogs say their team has looked flat against us this season, maybe i'm biased but I think that is a lot to do with how well organised Bruno has us drilled at the moment. But a great game of football to watch yesterday with 2 exciting teams. I thought Romeu looked great for you guys and what a goal from JWP! Good luck for the season!

I felt honoured to see that free kick live. A lot of Wolves fans think it took a deflection off Moutinho in the wall. I can categorically state, that it didn’t. Ward-Prowse gave it a thunderbastard of a shot and the ball swerved one way, then the other. Very Roberto Carlos! If I live to be 100, I doubt I’ll see another one like it.

I think the fixture pile up finally caught up with them. At least they have a week to recover and go back to 4,2,2,2. I don't think it was a pen, but I am biased. Perou (left back, sorry can't spell) is getting so close to scoring, a goal for him versus city. And as for JWPs goal , words fail me. That one was new, he normally goes to the left hand corner, in fact their keeper took a step to his right as jwp ran up which meant he could not reach it. Their keeper and defence were very good. Thanks for the blog .

Summed it up perfectly. They did a job on us and very well drilled and coached. Not end of world. On to City. Can never expect a result and all I ask in games against the very best on the planet is make them run, make it uncomfortable and do what you can to stay in game and be competitive. No idea what software you use Mike but it’s stunning those intros are so good these days don’t mind watching it all when we get beat 3-1. Keep the faith, look forward to the City preview in the week and we March on!

I sat in it once with a Gillingham supporting mate, we beat the Gills 6-1 I think so he wasn’t best happy. Anyway, it rained, we got wet. It was sunny and you couldn’t see shit because of the sun in your eyes. Every goal Wolves scored, unidentifiable liquids were thrown over us from above. So yes mate, it’s a bloody awful stand!

Don't know how anyone can say that wasn't a penalty. Bednarek or who ever it was went in for a tackle completely missed the ball and wiped out our player.. Its a clear penalty not even debatable

I'm a bit torn about ward-prowse, obviously being a wolves fan i don't see a lot of him but what I have seen if the ball is not stationary he doesn't seem to know what to do about it. I think Southampton is about the right level for him but what a free kick though.

JWP just signed a new 5yr deal making him the highest earner at the club, so he could be around for the remainder of his career (at least a couple more seasons)…. But this is football, so you never know. Cheers, stay safe 🙏🏼

😂👍🏻… To be very honest, that comment we made about the safe standing section was more out of frustration that we don’t have it at St Marys yet. I also totally get that standing may block views of others who are unable to stand , so it will take time to re adapt. Great ground though, a lot of character.
