Thank you for defending the Pope, Rob. Let’s continue our prayers for him and his attackers.

You mention the people who are constantly criticizing the Pope. The thing is that when liberals criticize the Pope, they don't claim to be some radical adherents to tradition, so in their system it doesn't matter as much what our past Saints, Doctors, and Popes said about obedience and discretion of judging others. But the irony with the "traditionalists" is that they will treat the Pope this way while they claim to hold to a tradition that has some of the most radical stances on obedience, reverence for authority, needing cannonical mission to teach, and leaving judgement of crimes to the authorities God has appointed, etc.
@bluecollarcatholic81734 ай бұрын
They may be Radical, but they're definitely not traditional.

This is such a strong point. This is why jesus criticised the pharisees so much "brood of vipers" and "hypocrites" are a taste of their own judgement without repentance. It was cardinal Ratzinger that said to Marcel Lefebrve (paraphrasing here): By giving your own personal interpretation of the magesterium, you end up being guilty of the modernism you claim to fight against.

My non-denominational church just started calling the pastor's wife a pastor too. Now they are starting to have her preach. It just solidifies the fact that we're not at the right church. I'm glad the Pope set the interviewer straight. I hate that the headlines try to act like he said things he did not.

@@bluecollarcatholic8173 That's a good question! I have no idea. The church is not very transparent about finances. We've been going to this church for 9 years and now it's a mega church. I know the church brings in millions.

I'm sure she gets paid more than the average member unfortunately.

All the apostles were men as Jesus had intended. But I always remember the three women that went to anoint the body of Jesus. Even though the apostles were hiding behind locked doors and they didn't know who would roll back to stone, they went anyway. That's called faith, hope, and love. And all the saintly women throughout the years and especially The Blessed Mother. Thank you.

Michael Loften posted his reply to "could a young Roman Catholic girl grow up to be a priest" was.... No. I am not saying Pope Francis is my favourite Pope, but I will never believe someone filled with hate and what they say about him.

The Church does have female theologians and seminary professors. Dr. Mary Healy, for instance, teaches at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. She is also a charismatic. Pope Francis recently called for female theologians to have more influence in the Church.

Ahh ya- there’s several female Saints that are declared “Doctors of the Church.”

Dr. Healy is a great theologian. I would to interview her.

Yeah the idea that the church keeps women down is silly. Literally the highest creature is a woman (Mary) and we venerate her so much people think we worship her lol

I will say to say we had women deacons shouldn't even b a conversation period. I mean how many women saints from France? And they weren't ever Deacon's but cloister Nuns. Something to think about.

Look i always defend Rome and my faith but i will say my fear comes in like this, Pope Francis is a bit liberal and this may b a slippery slope. This is my fear and yes Paul says for women to b silent and look into the second Pope, Pope Linus. Women have never did anything more than clean and up keep and also take care of the Priests. This isn't a slur against women, that is another story for another time. So far Francise said the right thing. Of course prayers for our Papa.

As a Traditional Catholic, i have no cwalms with the Novis Ordo but i sure do love the Traditional Latin mass. Second Vatican council to me was erong but again, i don't talk about it snd do not condem. As long as the tru presance is there and it is. Can we sll agree tho, traditional churches look a lot better??!! Lol...
@bluecollarcatholic81734 ай бұрын
With all due respect I think the Novus Ordo is more Traditional than the TLM . Just read Justin Martyr's description of the Mass in 150 AD .

@@bluecollarcatholic8173 I have but I gotta go with st Thomas Aquinas. To me cause I'm a Polska Catholic, I will never put my Lay hands on the Host and neither should any other Lay faithful or even a Deacon. I've seen it fall to the ground and we cannot ignore the fact that witches do steal the Eucharist this way. There is a Exorcism where the demons boast on having Layity receiving on the hand. Brother I've spoken to a lotta good Pastors and they all agree. To each his own but seeing the Body of Christ hit the floor, it does bring tears to my eyes and then I make Fatimo reparations...

Hey wutta bout being stuck in a Dogmatic box? That was a bit weird i gotta say but again I don't know this man personally and i still don't judge...
@bluecollarcatholic81734 ай бұрын
The Pharisees were stuck in a dogmatic box . They thought they were following the letter of the law . But they were actually rejecting the Spirit of the law . Many Catholics have a form of Godliness but deny it's Power . Saint Paul tells us to stay away from these people. 2 Timothy 3:5

@@bluecollarcatholic8173 I would argue that the Pharicies as Christ put, we're evil and knew exactly wut they were doing. In fact ever since the powers of evil have been against Christianity even till this day. Look all I'm saying cause I'm not one of these guys who splits our faith but the Jesuits aren't exactly the best Rome has and that Im only saying this now. We've had a lotta attacks on us from the Orthodox Schizim to Martin Luther, Calvin and maybe just maybe, the second Variation council?? This Pope does say things that make us question him but yet he hasn't said to much either. I will say tho as the Victor of Chsitum, he shouldn't of spoken against anyone let alone President Trump. That put him on my radar. Like I said I never bring scandal to Rome and I think this is your message and I agree. I'm just speaking to another Catholic at this point.
