At that point it's an arrestable offence and you have to give id and can be charged for a criminal offence ie, trespass and failure to id if you don't produce id most times resisting aswell i have noticed although that's down to the cop! Alot of police will try to make you believe you have to produce id to them for first time trespass on a property but under law you absolutely DO NOT have to unless violence is involved.
