Mine a pretty up there Abused and neglected growing up. Selfish narcs. Evil toxic ppl Mum has teased me for having autism on more than one occasion and according to dad I'm not good enough for the family He didn't have to tell me that but just obvious he is refering to my autism. They have disowned me but my sister's are perfect in their eyes. Lost custody of my son They have custody The abuse and neglect I have seen Wousl try and talk to them If u dnt shut up u won't be seeing him (My son) next week. Saying this in front of him as well Degrading me in front of him and directly to him. Mum is nothing but a B-I-T-C-H. Don't call mum that Couldnt even spend quality time with him.coz they always ruin it somehow.eg telling us.to shut up just coz we were laughing. Couldn't snuggle up with him to read him a bed time story. Ur dirty. Dnt want to make the bed dirty. Putting him back in pissed undies. Leaving him.in shitty undies for.six hrs. No.food and drink.for six hrs Stress got to me. Couldn't keep food down for three months. In hospital twice. Stopped ringing him coz mum would use him as the go between. Ask mum this....when I would try and talk to my son dad would be constantly talking to.him Have sent him stuff in the mail. they either have tossed it or don't give it to him In his first few yrs was involved with his medical stuff. But ever since I told the pediatrician my son was seeing at the time my concerns that he could have autism, my parents haven't told me anything since. They dnt encourage a relationship for me and my son. Aiden, let's ring mum I'm unintentionally emotionally abusing my son. I.asked mum if she wanted to see u but she said no or She didn't reply. Yes that's the truth but she is the one that landed me in hospital twice I had to take a step back. I know without a doubt my son is thinking why aren't I seeing mum. why doesn't mum want to see me But there's nothing I can do atm. Would u like me to to go.on

My period didn’t start and my idiotic ex gynecologist prescribed medication to start my cycle. 9 days later I tested positive. No daughter should have a mother like hers. How could you not take your daughter to the hospital, or even get out of bed to be with her, or her grandson. Unbelievable

The family ignoring her pain makes me so upset. I'm chronically ill and there is something always wrong with me. But if I say I need to go to the hospital, I'm going regardless of your non medical opinion.

Her own mother ignored her when she was in so much pain, and just brushed it off as period cramps? Poor woman was showing so much pain for so long, and the mother didn't do anything to help. The sister is to blame as well, even though she didn't hear Lacey screaming for hours, she could hear the pain in Lacey's voice but decided it was probably nothing. Truly sickening.

When I went to the hospital my mom got ready and assessed what I needed. My moms a nurse and even though she wanted to panic she put on her nurse hat and decided we needed to go to the ER within five minutes. This is awful parenting.

I remember for my second baby I was with my parents and at 7 months one night I woke up unable to breath and pain. Run to my parents room and they immediately jumped called the emergency service and tried to help me through it. My dad went in the ambulance with me whilst my mum looked after my first born. Seriously I scared them that night but my parents were brilliant 🥰

I am glad the other commenters agree about the poor support system for this young mother! Both her mom and her sister dismissed her telling them she was in intense pain. I am glad she had enough strength to call the ambulance after her family told her to calm down about her period pain when she was in labor. It didn’t even seem like the mom and sister were ashamed or embarrassed they didn’t take her seriously. I also liked that the EMD took credit for delivering the baby at the end.

What a uncompassionate mother :I’m in so much pain I think I have to go to the hospital mom it’s the middle of the night I’m bleeding it hurts so /bad go back to bed you’re OK sweetie. So sorry you have to be raised by my mother like that compassion is key as a parent no matter what age even if your child has mental physical challenges chronic pain complains it doesn’t matter you should still be compassionate understanding that you’re feeling something very disturbing and your child is coming for you for help

Women need to know way more about their own bodies, including their reproductive systems. This mother and grandmother were so out of touch. By the time I had my second baby at home, I knew to stop pushing until the cord was unwrapped. I didn't have to see it to know the likelihood of this happening. Part of our empowerment is our ability to mother. I hope all is well with this family now.

I have chronic pain. I'm in pain every day. But no matter what, every single time I tell my husband or my parents that I am in pain, no matter how weak or strong the pain is, they immediately ask me what is hurting and what they can do to help. This family's dismissive attitude toward a woman in clearly severe pain is absolutely atrocious. They should be ashamed.

I'm not one of those "go low contact" or "cut off all contact"-sort of people, but damn. These people are toxic. I don't even care if she's a hypochondriac or something! I had family with similar problems and was always there for them at all hours of the day. That's what family's there for. Even if the condition itself might be in their head, you don't brush off someone in pain like that.

The treatment she got from her family made me very sad. It is better to go to the emergency room than do nothing at all. So what she often "complains" about pain, people has diffrent pain thresholds, if someone is in pain you should listen to him/her wether you believe them or not

Even after her Mum and sister have refused to take her to the hospital and she ends up having to call 911 the Mum still tried to disregard her call for help by telling the operator it was just her period like she was overdramatic and they could just cancel the ambulance or something. I'm sure the Mum loves her and everything, but I hope after all that that she started working on being more compassionate.

Wow some family. She always does this she always exaggerates it. Yeah it would be entirely your fault if something is wrong with that kid because you didn’t bother to help her when she asked you to take her to the hospital. Some mother! because you don’t wanna get out of bed. If we were sick or in pain our mother would be up an hour bedside asking if we need to go in or not. She wouldn’t tell us to go back to bed if we’re in agony
