Self-improvement is a necessary component of all successful people, good on you. I had a mentor who I deeply respect tell me once, if you don't see a friend for ten years, and met them, and they're still exactly the same, doing the same stuff, then they aren't learning, growing, or improving, and steer clear. Some people learn from their own mistakes, some people never learn, but the wise will learn from the mistakes of others and not have to make them in the first place! We all have so much to teach one another. That's one of my favorite aspects of romantic relationships, you get to know someone and get a fresh perspective on life. I always try to learn something from relationships, even if it's just cool new music or something like that. Stay grinding and shining sister, God Bless, Jesus loves you!

Diamonds are actually really plentiful and have limited practical uses, but there was a massive campaign a long time ago when they mined for something else and discovered diamonds instead to push the idea of a diamond engagement ring being the sign of a man who is serious and a good match in marriage. Women ate it up, it became the norm, and now the market is careful controlled to limit supply to artificially inflate the price of what are in fact shiny, pretty, but pretty useless stones. The two big take aways for me are that women have enormous control over the marketplace, and people are gullible.

My father gave me some very solid advice about life that relates. When you get older and enter adulthood, people decide who to hang out with and don't have them thrust on you by going to school. And then you have to decide, who are you going to make friends with or date: people at work, people at the bar, or people at church. I had to think about that and really ponder what I wanted to do. I decided that the only logical step was to avoid any entanglements at work, don't shit where you eat. You can make great friends at the bar, but random hookups or dating people from that scene? I don't think that's a good idea, it's fun too, but it always turns to shit. Church is...different. Girls want serious men who want to get married there, and the men who are quality want the same thing. They all vary, churches and the people in them, but a good church is going to have good people like who I described. Just don't go to church and think everyone there is saved lol. Just because you're in church doesn't mean that you live it when you leave.

@ramitch45816 ай бұрын
That, and set the safeties correctly. My first set on bench every day is a warmup just with the bar and making sure I can escape if I fail. I'm sure there are ways to escape without safeties as well, but I don't have to worry about that.

The woman that said she was doing it to honor her grandfather and he was a minister is sick. Her grandfather spent his life trying to get women like her away from that lifestyle. As a retired minister if my granddaughter was doing that I'd be ashamed and embarrassed.

Troubles arise from problem creating toxic women.
@ginnungagapabyss56396 ай бұрын
I've gotta agree with the whole “if you cannot financially support a family, you should not have kids.”, most of the problems in the world would be taken care of if people did not have kids until they were mentally, and financially able to. Also, everything would be far cheaper with fewer people around. The way I see it freezing your sperm, and getting the snip would be a great idea, that way if you fuck up with picking a partner, your not paying a ton of money on Child support, along with the alimony payments. I think it's also possible to undo the snip, but if the tubes healed over, you will not be able to undo it. Male birth control is also something being worked on, but we have a few years before that's ready.

A cheater has no integrity, no honor. If you have no integrity and won't do what you say you will do, I can't trust you. Why would I associate myself with you if I cannot trust you? Goes for both male and female. Pick better people to keep in your life.

They, in general, are not saying that cheating is okay, they are saying that the men who women value; by definition the high value men CAN cheat, and that the sort of men the VAST majority of women value highly ARE the type to cheat. Unfortunately that is a fact.
