Praise God for the understanding of his word, for the double-edged word that cuts through soul and spirit! That sounds like a tough situation. Sorry to hear about that. Obviously I can't really share my opinion not having all the facts....I am a strong proponent of taking ownership of everything I can that was/is under my jurisdiction 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

@@danblatz6136 It's happening to millions of us Christian men who lived in Holy Matrimony. My wife was one of the most literate and in-context readers of the bible I have ever met. (She was also a librarian so she read with speed and great comprehension.) We home-schooled our son from K to Grad together. It was just wonderful! When we were 61 years old, she just left the house before I got up one morning. I was served with divorce papers and we didn't even believe in divorce or talk about it. No fornication, no adultery at all. You will see these women on the front rows of all kinds of Christian denominations. Our son told me his mom goes to one of them and is very welcome there. My wife and I met in high school but after high school, we actually started dating from going to the same Church in Fort Wayne In. When you say the woman is the glory of man, I really believed and enjoyed that truth. The 2 make one flesh was just great. Will God say to me, "why has thou listened to the woman" like He did Adam? Probably will.

@@orangeandslinky wow. That's really sad sir. I can't imagine. The only comfort I would have is in the future world that is to come. In normal cases when both people love the truth it should work out. I would hope that one day you'll get the statement "well done good and faithful servant". 😔

@@danblatz6136 Thanks dan. I never got over it and I won't. I am 3 score and 10 so I know that I could die today. There is no marriage in heaven so this was my only time to experience it and Solomon was really right. So was Paul. Our son was raised in the Church and he is destroyed by the divorce. I don't blame Him at all. He was raised to believe what God has joined together no man should put asunder. He was watching how to be a mom and dad. He was watching how his parents were different because of our faith is about doing and learning about family ups and downs with Christ. When his own mother walked out and smashed the holy matrimony, It showed him what a joke his parents were and their stupid faith was too. No man did put our marriage asunder. His own mother did, and she is in a long line of front row seat born again divorced women playing with grandkids right now. To him, of course it's all a fake faith and so is marriage. What a mess dan.

@@orangeandslinkyI know that a spirit seems to have gripped our age...a spirit that seems to target women more than anyone, and the "church" is not exempt. However the society always seems to go the way that men lead it. Like I said, I don't know your situation, but for me personally I take my wife's satisfaction and fulfillment in life personally. If she is not fulfilled that's my responsibility. We know the devil is up to no good and that's part of the challenge of this life. There's nothing you or I can do about our wife's sins and faults, but there's always some responsibility to take on our part. Ultimately I'm the one responsible for my wife and kids. 🙏🏻 It's a tall order but I think it's biblical.

Paul started a whole new religion which is in contradiction to Christ teachings.

Actually steve, your kind of right. The gospel given to Paul by the risen Christ through many revelations was UNKNOWN and HIDDEN and a MYSTERY to everyone including Satan and the prophets. Until this gospel came, salvation was of the Jews only. The new mystery gospel was for anyone, Jew, Greek (gentiles). It is a new gospel from the one before the finished work on the cross. None of the 12 Apostles ever heard of it but they did convert to it eventually. This Grace not of works gospel will end when the fullness of the Gentiles is completed.
