This is truly scary and horrifying and I’m so glad that the young woman is ok. Word of advice for any one especially woman attending college and participate in frat parties never ans I mean never drink anything at those parties don’t even trust the water fountains in their building. The college I went to had a byob option for those parties which made it safer for women. And I always hold my drinks like a claw covering the top and will only lift my hand when I’m drinking it.

My mother has permanent brain damage and memory loss from having her drink spiked at a bar on my sister's birthday in the summer of 2020. Drink spiking is a horrible crime, as it can also raise the blood alcohol content and not be detected using standard hospital drug testing panels. Never leave your drink unattended, or accept a drink from someone you don't know. And if you see someone do this, please block the exits and inform anyone working there, and call the police. Unfortunately I could not have been there to break the person's knee caps.

It's a scary feeling, because I was a victim as well. I have a high tolerance and on a girl's night out my ONE drink of that night was spiked. My girlfriends said I began to mumble crazy things, then became lethargic. Luckily they recognized that this was out of character for me and took me to the emergency room. Upon which, I tested positive for GHB. I have no memory of anything they told me happened. So I'm baffled as to how this girl was coherent enough to set up her camera and record 🤔My last memory was turning down a guy at the bar who was very aggressive. Yup last time I went clubbing something was put in my drink, I had a few sips and shortly after couldn't walk falling everywhere, I started blacking out. Thankfully the club I was at had washroom attendant and she picked up something was not right and wouldn't let me leave the bathroom. I miraculously woke up the following day in my own bed, not knowing how I got there. I later learned that a guy kept asking about me while in the washroom to "help" me, and the woman contacted the club's security to remove him, she also answered my phone and directed my friends to my location and they got me home safely. Last was by choice the last time I've gone to a club or bar, and also don't drink anything but water when out unless I can cap it. This occurred over 10 years ago and it's sad that it continues to be a problem. Why can't people just let others enjoy their time out is beyond me and to this day I wish I knew who that women was cause if not for her I am certain the outcome for me would have been different. All I can say to women out their is be aware not only for yourself but others to.

These things have been going on since the 90s - You just have to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times specially when you’re around a lot of people; Anything can happen, when your around lots of people- not just your drink being spiked …

When I first started waitressing back in 2015 I saw a kid putting something into a girl's drink. Didn't know where he got it an didn't know how to respond cause I don't know someone could be so brazen. Told the girl when she came back an the boy got so offended cause " it was just salt". All I saw was him dusting something from his hands to her drink. In the end she got a new drink an he got a lecture cause no one knows you let alone who this girl your with best be safe than sorry.

This just proves my theory of.....nothing good happens at night, at bars, and ALWAYS go with friends. Never go to places by yourself. It just isn't safe anymore. And you can't trust people, even when you think you can. Wait a long time before ever trusting someone enough to be alone somewhere.

People, MEN TOO, when you're drinking a cocktail, use a small straw, take the napkin, punch the straw through it and leave it like that and drink... I started doing that 10yrs ago when this happened to me.. The person, it was a WOMAN who did mine for her boyfriend, put Ketamine and Diphenhydromine into mine.. Fortunately, I drink the SAME type of cocktail and the taste, I could tell and I had only put it to my lips and barely got a taste because I started laughing.. It itched my lip and I went straight to the bar, call 911 I know who did it because I ALWAYS watch who comes close to me... These two had 2 freaking VILES of it!!

Went through a similar ordeal. I was with someone I knew (or thought I knew) and was not drinking alcohol. I suddenly felt the urge to leave his house and he got really defensive about it. I almost didnt make it home and had to stop repeatedly to throw up. I could have killed someone or gotten a DUI. It took a while for me to put the pieces together and I still have trouble processing it. I was so lucky to get out of it ok.

@@MoNehNeh17 OMG...It was a bottle of water that had been sealed. I didnt even think of needle spiking. It was someone I knew (or thought I knew) fairly well so I wasnt especially on guard but I'm generally observant of my drinks/food. How he behaved after is what has always really bothered me. He got really weird and demanding of my attention all of a sudden. Like he suspected I suspected something. It set all my alarms off. I'm kinda nauseous just thinking about it right now and feel really naive.

Years ago I had gone to a Deftones concert where I had bought two or three absolutely awful drinks. I would only take one sip and I would throw them away. Because they tasted awful. A couple hours later I went to a club with my friends where I only had water. At that club someone, probably someone I know slipped something into my water and into the drinks of some of my friends. I could not recall anything after drinking my cup of water. I Woke up the next day feeling so violated from what snippets I remembered after whatever they gave me was wearing off. I felt so weak, tired, sick. But I didn’t say anything to anyone because I felt that those drinks I purchased with my credit card and didn’t really drink, would be used against me. I wish I had thought differently.
