@ttephi3667Ай бұрын
What kind of damage do they cause if I may ask?
@marionfriedenthal7352Ай бұрын
@ttephi3667 My sons run free in his bedroom. They will chew any cables they get hold of, carpets, bedding, strip paint or wallpaper off the walls. But if he gave them sufficient toys to play with they may not be as naughty. Pine cones, sticks and empty toilet paper inners/ roller towel inners with treats in do keep them busy. Their teeth grow very fast and so they chew things to keep them short I think. They love having cardboard boxes to hid in (like a burrow) and will rip those apart over a period of time. They can be litter box trained and are very sweet. They mostly get up to mischief at night as they're nocturnal.

We rescued a bunny within days of moving out of state. And we brought it with us because we got attached quickly.😁 It lived for a few years and sadly, passed away. We were devastated. I see cottontail bunnies, around my neighborhood always and stop to watch them and remember our lil bunny we had. Thanks for sharing. 🐇❤🥰

What a sweet story. What kind-hearted people ❤ Btw, for all rabbit owners, don't feed bunnies carrots! As a treat, the tops with the greenery sluced thinly is fine, but a whole one is bad for them. Stick to proper rabbit food (I don't mean salads!) The one, very rarely, shouldn't hurt, but don't make a habit of it.

My school director told the K teachers we would all be getting bunnies for our classes...in Manhattan! I panicked...long story short, Jumper was such a special bunny...I loved him so much. He was out all day and a parent with a construction company made him a huge 3 room hutch w mahogany trim and brass fittings. Every day another child got to bring him fresh veggies and I made sure he went home w a family every weekend so he would not be alone. He was a lot of work because back then I didn't know bunnies could be litter trained. Fortunately, he did " go" in the bathroom part of his hutch but needed to be cleaned every day. He was such a delight and of course the kids adored him too. It was a time when the kids still napped on the floor so he was hopping around and visiting them. That is amazing that she kept all four!
