So all the male content creators on Instagram are not S workers? Black women don't have to sell themselves to make money. We have ideas, businesses, education, etc. Where is she getting this?

It’s so dangerous to assume all women who are comfortable in life are SW’s. The reality is: Trust fund babies exist. Women who date and marry wealthy men exist. Women who have advanced degrees and high earning careers exist. Women who own and operate successful businesses exist. Women who save and invest their money well exist. This is not denying that SW’s exist, but too many women, especially black women, work hard to earn the comfort they have in life. BM by and large do not provide this comfort and actually create financial distress and expose women and children to poverty. This is backed by several studies and stats. It breaks my heart that younger BW feel that their value lies in their body only and will use this rhetoric to justify selling themselves. When you sell yourself, you sell your soul. SW can ruin your life due to all of the dark energy surrounding that industry. Women have come up missing, stalked, unalived, became addicts, developed mental health issues etc. all because they put a price on their body. That is NOT how you create and maintain abundance.

@@heyizz I’m so sorry you experienced that - that’s absolutely horrendous. I used to be friends with a girl in undergrad who could NOT mind her business. She was constantly pointing other people out and poking fun at them for no reason. We were having dinner one night and she pointed out a younger black woman with an older black man and immediately assumed she was a sugar baby. I was so disgusted by her because there was nothing inappropriate or intimate about their interaction. They literally looked like they could be dad/daughter or grandfather/granddaughter. I stopped being friends with the girl soon after. I think it also speaks to the fact that people aren’t used to seeing black women with healthy or close relationships with black men generally.

@@GGoddess95 I'm not a black woman but the 🌽 brainrot has absolutely consumed men to the point any young woman with someone decades older than them is not potentially seen as a daughter first, although I can imagine it's worse for black women. So for a BLK woman to have money she has to be selling herself? The jealousy and envy is at an all time high ladies, even amongst family. My mother spoke with me on the phone the other day, and mentioned that a family member felt like it was inappropriate for me to be posting luxury photos, considering I’ve had a few financial problems this past year. I let my mom know that I do me, don’t have any kids, very little bills, and most of the items that I wear are things that I bought when I did have much more money, I’m not apologizing for leveling my life up, to appease family members who made bad decisions their entire life..people see what they want to see👑

As for the old men I'm pretty sure they are putting out. I say if you provide your own bag, then you don't have to "get the bag". Also if we would teach our daughters to not be impressed by money we might be able to prolong unnecessary experiences. Think to yourself, why does this 60-something year old man have interest in my 20-something me? Don't let men fly you out nowhere! Even though it's the men seeking them out, they don't have to comply. They don't have to take the money.

My parents, especially my dad’s opinion is that girls who’ve never been provided, protected and cherished by their fathers and taught that they have precious and sacred value and shown healthy relationships from their parents end up in sex work. He’s coming from a clinical psychologist perspective in statistics. The amount of abused and forgotten girls is a crisis on the planet. These girls grow up not knowing their worth and statistically if they were sexually abused they believe it’s normal to have men sexualize, dehumanized and demean them. Having wealth is not synonymous with prostitution but it is absolutely alarming the superficial and sexualized lifestyle content online and listing to the women tell their stories of sex work is heartbreaking and terrifying. Predatory men and abused women are an epidemic.

Girl, that is patriarchal BS. Most people in general who aren't protected as children can end up in toxic situations or develop dysfunctional characteristics. You don't have to be a psychologist to know that. Most women and girls are harmed by the men around them. That includes their fathers. Women and girls would actually be safer amongst a community of women to protect them. This idea that men are natural protectors is a lie created by patriarchy. Men are naturally selfish and self serving. Females are the true protectors. If you look in nature, it's the females protecting the young. Not the males.

I hate that other women assume a woman's wealth must come from men or selling sex (which if a women wants to do that - that's her perogative). It diminishes women's accomplishments. Some of us have parents who made smart financial decisions. People in my field earn upwards of £200k before bonuses, mid career in the US salaries of $700k are not uncommon and that's before quarterly bonuses which can easily be 7 figures annually. And most people usually have other streams of income. And this is why I am glad, I stay off social media. I keep my life private bc it's clear I will be accused selling my ass or drugs etc., when I have so many letters after my name, my parents set me up financially and I have multiple streams of income. The men visited the temples and brought appropriate gifts. There was great reverence and reciprocal relationships were part of the experience of sacred s3xuality. This is where the word "prostitute" was first used as an insult, because patriarchy was determined to degrade women's sacred Sisterhood and Goddess s3xuality. Sir, as a woman, we are telling you the truth: ANYTIME you see a young woman dating a significantly older man, there is money involved. It doesn't matter how well-off she appears. If he didn't have money, she wouldn't be there. That or somebody was inappropriate with her/she had an absent father, and now she has daddy issues. Those are the ONLY reasons, with extremely rare exception. Generally, we are not naturally attracted to old men. You have to ask yourself, why else would they be with an old dude when they could have a young buck in his prime. Please don't be in denial. Now, I personally don't believe in that lifestyle because I think it's gross. I'd rather work for mine, and I'm not dating anyone that I'm not attracted to. But that is the reality of why young women date old men.
@marcelrobinson
@marcelrobinson 3 ай бұрын
@@tjaspire Women are diverse individuals with their own unique experiences and perspectives. It is important to recognize that using terms like "young buck" can be inappropriate or questionable. It is unfair to categorize every May-December relationship as solely based on financial reasons, as relationships are complex and multifaceted. It is true that nobody wants to be in a relationship where they feel like a financial burden, regardless of age. It is also important to consider that not every relationship dynamic is a result of trauma, and that different people may have different reasons for being attracted to someone older or younger than themselves. Furthermore, it is worth acknowledging that women may have worked hard to achieve a certain lifestyle, which could include buying expensive items or going on trips. This may involve years of dedication to their career, financial planning, and making personal choices such as delaying or opting out of having children. Each individual's journey is unique, and it is essential to respect and understand the diversity of experiences among women.

@marcelrobinson Sir, I took the note on "young buck." I could see how that could be interpreted as offensive, although I was not indicating any particular race. But you're a man, so I'm not even sure why you're debating me on women behaviors. Yes we are all unique, but some qualities are innate to all women. And I'm telling you from a woman's perspective: there is no benefit to a young woman dating an old man, except for his money. That is the sad harsh truth that many men can't accept. If a man is old, she is attracted to the money and/or the lifestyle he provides her. Exceptions to this are minuscule. Any man who thinks otherwise is delusional.

We gotta be honest with ourselves. A lot of people in the comment section saying that sex work is work, but honestly, is that what you’re promoting to your daughters? I also hear that a lot of women are professionals and make their own money and not mind what other women are doing. Is that what you want for your nieces and sisters? You can say “sex work is work“ until the cows come home, but just saying it isn’t going to do anything. You have to really advocate for someone when they’ve been doing sex work for 15 years and they call you for a reference in the office. When they want to be taken seriously as a political candidate. If they feel like coming back to the church. You can’t just say “sex work is work” for people who are away from you, but wouldn’t wish that for the people who are closest to you. Sex work is the oldest profession. But the women who participate in it are considered the scum of the Earth. And don’t get me started on “what about male sex workers?“ You know damn well no one gives a damn about male sex workers. One of the many double standards between men and women. And yes, let’s not be stupid. Sugar baby content was incredibly viral not that long ago and there were plenty of creators pushing sugaring and escort content onto many young women. Many young girls who haven’t even given life a good honest try asking what websites to go to. The lady in the pink tank top is right. If you’re a pharmacist, a lawyer, a corporate spokesperson, whatever then people are very proud to put that in their bio. But whenever I see a sex worker’s profile and she’s loud and proud with it, you can definitely tell that she’s a sex worker. One of my best friends from high school….had us thinking she was going to Dubai with our other friend for a “trip.” Girl one of the girls slipped up and exposed that they were the “entertainment” on these yachts. I don’t know specifics but after that one trip she went off the deep end and is heavily into the nightlife now--but the bags, hair, make up, and apartment is always LAID!👀When I tell you I was BIG ENVIOUS because I work 3 jobs and still couldn’t afford a girls trip…when I found out that’s what it was I was so happy to take my ass back to work lol

And see that’s the whole point that EVERYONE is missing. Is that yes, you can be envious of what they seem to have, what they seem to be able to do when you’re in the dark. But as soon as the truth comes out you’re like oh… No, thank you! It’s not about being bitter or jealous. It’s just the transparency makes the decision better. Because everyone has a choice you can see her and be like oh I don’t mind doing that too! Or you can say no thank you I’m go back to my 9 to 5. It doesn’t make us any better or worse off than the next woman but transparency is key.

Or for their employment they have to keep a certain amount of secrecy about where they work. The people who start throwing alligations of S work just make it clear they are bitter and jealous. Like you see someone posting and your first thought is to be jealous and petty? Ok girl enjoy sitting in your unhappiness.

I have had plenty of people think I was doing something strange for change when in reality I was in the military and had my everyday corporate job....so basically two incomes. I would buy whatever I want, take trips a few times a year(sometimes back to back) and bought my first house and sold it for a nice profit. I just let them think what they wanted to think. Yes, they actually asked me to my face a few times how I'm affording all this and I just played into the joke. It's no one's business and more importantly.....why you pocket watching!?! If someone was funding my life....how does it affect any of you in any way? Sounds like envy to me. Also sounds like the manosphere talking points. Newsflash, spewing off their talking points won't get you Scooby snacks to make them choose you.

I agree that this narrative is damaging to those of us who ARE NOT S-workers and actually work and grind the normal way to pave the way for ourselves while being celibate and waiting for the right man. When will people learn to mind their own business? Whether or not someone is giving affection in exchange for money, power, or status....is NONE of my business. I know that marriage is legalised sex work, plus the women who marry usually end up in deficit. And they aren't selling their bodies, they are selling a service. People who think female sex workers are "selling their soul" are forgetting there are ppl whose job is to protect corporations that poison the groundwater and lead to the deaths of millions. Companies that persuade mothers in rural communities to use formula, which is free until the breast milk dries up. Then babies die like flies. And then all of our "fast fashion" is made by enslaved children. And worse. But that's apparently all legitimate, "legal", capitalist labour. The hypocrisy and misogyny directed at female sex workers leaves their industry absent of legislation to protect the workers. Sex traffickers get very few legal consequences. Victims of pedo rings are actually JAILED when they escape their abusers. Women who fall for the respectable bullshit truly think they can offer up sex workers as sacrificial lambs, but TRUST that patriarchy comes for ALL of us.

But being offended and showing off makes more sense! If you got your own money & are so rich, why are you bothered by this womans take? She is a black woman, so she is speaking on black women! Some of you get so offended over things that don’t pertain to you and then point fingers at others who do the same! 🙄

Dominique A. (She is a nurse who does vlogging content and sells wigs). And other amazing entrepreneurial women who are living the life because they worked for it. If all she sees are Instagram/OF models then that's something she has to work out within herself.
