This is by far the most crazy gym-creep story I’ve ever heard. Ugh. I deal with some annoying things too :/ it’s frustrating!! I’m sorry you went through this.. I always go back to the idea of building my own gym too. Unfortunately, it’s a sellers market right now and my 2 bedroom, second floor condo can’t accommodate an at home gym. Cue the Michael Scott “why are you the way that you are” meme.. Hang in there. Fortunately and very unfortunately, you’re not alone.

I appreciate the office reference. 👏👏👏😂 We’ve slowly been putting together an at-home gym over the last year and this was the extra motivation we needed to finish it. This has happened a lot but luckily my gym management takes these complaints seriously and bans the member that’s harassing others. Never be nice to these creepy guys bothering you and don’t feel like you have to change your entire schedule just to avoid them. Always tell them to stop bothering you, report it to management and staff that are trustworthy.

I have dealt with creepy guys like that and I hate that the gym doesn't take it seriously. I'm petty, I would threaten to sue because they are allowing someone to be there who is a danger to other members.

It's great that you were able to handle the situation the best that you could and you did everything you could to let him know how this bothered you,its not fair you had to cancel your membership because he was stalking you and creeping you out,I would complain to the corporate office and have him removed from the club,you have your rights and they should be protected.

Since you mentioned he knows your car, If you "bump" into him anywhere, at this point, I don't think it'd be an accident. Report it immediately to the police. Dear lord the guy sounds like he has no social awareness. When I go to the gym I just want to work out. I have on rare occasions started a brief conversation with a woman but if I had ever got the impression a woman wasnt comfortable I would just leave. I want to give value to women, not make them uncomfortable. Sorry you have had to deal with this .

After continued Harassment by this person I highly suggest you make a (Report of Harassment) to local law enforcement/Gym administration Owner concerning Law code S 240.26 Harassment in the second degree. 1of 3 #1 He or she strikes, shoves, kicks or otherwise subjects such other person to physical contact, or attempts or threatens to do the same; or #2 He or she follows a person in or about a public place or places; or #3 He or she engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts which alarm or seriously annoy such other person and which serve no legitimate purpose. Reciting the Law of Harassment to a person verbally and after only after 2 events you Do have (Probable cause) to make a (Report of Harassment) to both Gym management and Local law enforcement.
