How it goes: 1) two people get into a relationship 2) the infatuation phase ends and they discover they are imperfect humans. 3) the woman complains about it to friends. The man doesn't. 4) the friends, hearing one side of the story, exaggerate the discontent. Over time, assisted by every form of media on the planet, they convince her to leave him. 5) the woman, like 80% of them, initiate a divorce. 6) the woman, seeking to justify herself, casts the man as the villain, takes everything she can get and poisons the kids against him. 7) the man loses everything, the woman moves on and finds man #2 who cares nothing for the kids but makes the woman feel validated. 8) both are unhappier than step 2, but it's too late so the woman convinces herself it's better. The kids are either treated like shit by man #2, abused, or more susceptible to divorce of their own. repeat until society collapses.

Married 19 years. Five kids. On the verge of divorce. She is a stay at home mom, while I have dependently gone to work to support my family. She has recently started complaining about men. She constantly tears me down. I have been mentally and physically abused for years. Multiple break ups ending with my return to try to keep my family together. I had to get her arrested for the fourth time for DV. This time I stayed in the house instead of leaving. Facing some real hard decisions now. Seems that she wants all of the benefits I provide, except me. She has openly, to my face told me that she can find another man. Looks like she will get her chance.

Don't leave. Stay. She can find a better man? Then she should go and find him. She leaves, You stay, its where your children are and where they are most safe. They shouldn't have to put up with quarrelsome parents or be uprooted to live elsewhere, but the situation is what it is. All the research show it to be true and data backs it up. Given that you must divorce, the optimal situation at that point is the father be single and raise the children, if the mother raises them single and the father a weekend dad, all the negative outcomes greatly increase for the children. The grass she thinks is greener out there? Let her go graze on it. She will soon find its greener because its growing on a septic tank.

Quite a few years ago, I was in the company of some twenty something girls; they were complaining about how it was hard for them to find a guy to date. Foolishly, I told them that my wonderful, electrical engineer husband of 30 years might know some young engineers in their age range. They almost immediately responded with the following: "eeuuw, engineers are boring." Slap forehead. I said nothing and just moved on. I won't ever do that again. None of those girls deserved ten minutes of the highly intelligent, stable, ambitious young men that my husband knew through work. Never again. No, I don't know what the end of their story was but I think we can all project a reasonable answer.

The problem is all divorced women carry a lot of baggage from their previous marriage and are not willing to leave it behind. Instead, they judge all potential mates by it. It also means they are not willing to look at someone who could offer them a new hope, left-swiping good honest men simply because they are not 'perfect' physically, make six figures, the men aren't 'risk-takers', etc. I did not meet my second wife at a bar or other such place. I met her on Match. Took over ten years of careful and patient searching to find her. She doesn't look like a model or go to church, but she is a keeper!

There are two things in common in most of these videos, and both are baffling to me: 1. The way they speak, almost all of them highlighting the same ideas which in the end mean nothing, it's like hearing a politician, just spitting word to give an hour speech 2. These old, divorced women, which in some cases have children, talk about dating, getting married, the future, etc, as if they were just starting life. They already got all of that, and they don't seem to understand that after certain age, the only sure thing is death, and they choose it to face it alone It's quite pathetic

Sounds to me that these women are sorry for losing their financial and emotional support systems. I no longer have sympathy for them. They leave good man, gets their hearts broken by bad ones only to expect good men to heal them and if good men dont then "all men are assholes"?

Who wants advice from a divorced person? I literally had a guy at church walk up to me and give me some unsolicited and unneeded advice. I turned to him and his wife and said, 'Thanks for that. Is this your third wife?' He and she went red in the face and scampered.

Oh my, my, my.... divorced after 33 years of marriage??? Hmmm... what in goodness name drove her to divorce court? Or more accurately, which hastily and irrational divorced/single "friend" has she been hanging out with? As for the woman who is content with being the side chick, who claims her generation was not taught how to date properly, well... I'm of that generation and was taught VERY WELL, AND I LISTENED to the men in my life being my father and uncle and observed other people's situations and relationships to know what to do (my mother with my father was/is a good example to this day) and what NOT to do and how to behave as a lady and how to decipher between men who wanted a long term relationship or just have their way...ONE MAN I've dated and been married to now for 22 years so...my guess is, she was with her husband since the age of 16 and upon getting around a group of women or watching some chick flick movie surrounding "women's liberation" or maybe some "reality TV show", she figured since she was with her husband since the age of 16, she hasn't lived or allowed herself to "see what's out there" and/or she got bored and suddenly she was no longer content in her marriage or you guessed it..."she wasn't happy." So now, fast forward to today's dating scene, she has now come to the realization that expecting what she experienced with her husband and more are far and in-between if they're not already married...hence now she'd rather be content with being a side chick. In the end, she gave up her position of being one man's first lady to the side chick of many men. How and why would any rational thinking human being have any sympathy for this woman's plight?

Dating really isn’t meant for middle aged people, it’s a waste of time in general. Also there’s zero upside for men to get married. Anyone see the story of the Vietnam vet that was captured and while captured his wife was cheating on him. When he finally got home she divorced him and then took 40% of his retirement pay? Or the guy who was wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for a crime. His wife divorced him and after over a decade he was released and given a payout. And the ex-wife shows up to try and take half. She failed but the fact that she tried is crazy. Until laws favors men in a divorce, don’t do it. If you never marry her, your wife can never cut you off from sex and can never divorce because she’s not happy. And before moving in, look up common law marriages in your state.

It’s honestly amazing that women think bringing “mind blowing sex” to a relationship is going to keep a man. News flash ladies: He’s probably had better and was just being nice. Even if you are his best sex partner ever the best cook ever will beat you every time. Because the cook probably brings more than just cooking.

It sounds like these women rediscovering themselves tries to live in the past. Like what they had or were in the past is still going to return. It's like someone who fears growing up. I see my childern needs validation because their still growing so they need a lot of reassurance. But a grown person who needs constant validation like a child definitely have not grown and is very insecure
