This is a weird and barfy video! They didn’t really mention any specifics, but it seems as if they’re making it a very BIG deal. Read Dr. Richard K. Bernstein’s book, “The Diabetes Solution.” He was diagnosed himself in 1946 at 12 y.o. In 1969, he was the first person diagnosed with diabetes to monitor his own blood sugar. His wife had to get the monitor, because, at the time, doctors were the only ones who could buy them, and he was an engineer at the time. He learned that type 1 diabetics can keep their blood sugar levels at normal, non-diabetic levels and that they can minimize the use of insulin. Not only that, he switched careers and became a doctor and has a private clinic working with those diagnosed with pre-diabetes and diabetes. He is currently 89 years old.
