@lemonssssssss4 this is going to be a bit oversimplified, but your cells are supposed to split occasionally to make sure you body has new, health cells. A tumor happens when the cells don’t stop splitting. There’s two types of tumors benign and malignant. Benign is mostly harmless. Malignant tumors are the ones you get with cancer. These types of tumors will keep coming back after they are removed and cause harm to the body. Breast cancer means that the Brest cells are the ones with the tumors, Skin cancer means the skin cells are the ones with tumors, etc.
@Adamant_Adam
@Adamant_Adam Жыл бұрын
@lemonssssssss4 Cancer is a disease caused when cells divide uncontrollably and spread into surrounding tissues. Cancer cells are just body cells making the wrong thing in the wrong place. (Some cancers form teeth, hairs, nails, etc. in places it shouldn't. Don't google it.) You can get breast cancer and it can spread into your ribs and lungs. Some women have a gene that makes their offspring more likely to get cancer in the breasts. For a while women would remove their breasts to prevent breast cancer, but that would just force the cancer to appear in the ribs and lungs (harder to treat than in breast tissue.) My mother has breast cancer, so I know a little bit if you have any other questions.

Actually gets really confusing because technically if you live in a neighborhood with an HOA they sort of own your land and house, so yes they can kick you out (they can foreclosure on you) And then there's your own house but not but you don't have the land rights. So this would mean a lot of people don't actually own land. In many places it would basically become an authoritarian regime.

@Nonaya Bidness no ofc not. But if you took any US specific history classes, you would know that the term “land owning men can vote” was first coined in the late 1700’s to 1800’s by the US government who was restricting voting rights against women and poc. The shorten term now used, had a lot more requirements but continuing the same sentiment of “only white, land owning, Protestant Christian males can vote”. Therefore it is more about the historical context than it being a statement about the current state of land ownership amongst races.

It's literally how my boyfriend is raised. He was raised where his mom stands up for his dad, no matter how wrong his dad is. If mom says he can hang out with me, but dad says no, then mom changes her views and says no. His mom also has has wake his dad up for work and pack his lunch for him, because he TOTALLY isn't a grown ass able-bodied man who can literally take care of himself (I'm being sarcastic). And it's all conservative. So my boyfriend was raised as a conservative white cishet American loving male. Long story short, he found out that he was bi, and he started having lgbtq friends who were gender nonconforming. And now he is in a relationship with a multiracial pansexual demigirl. I always joke to my parents that I "liberaled" my boyfriend.

She realizes she wouldn't be allowed to work at all? Women like that only want rights for themselves and not other women. It's so annoying. Oh, absolutely. For another example, I love all that nerdy Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda and Dungeons & Dragons type stuff, but I am also a history student and fully understand that living in real-life medieval times was seldom beautiful and cool and romantic, even for posh folk. It was spectacularly smelly and shite, and anyone born female had an especially crap time of it in many ways. As an autistic and somewhat sensitive and low-energy person, and a progressively-raised only child who especially cherishes personal space and freedom, I would have absolutely lost my mind in such a society, probably before even approaching adulthood. Regardless of all their faults thus far, the 2020s are a mercifully safe place, here in the Scottish countryside anyway, for someone like me. I like some vintage several-decades-ago type stuff too, think cottagecore and farmcore kind of vibes, the atmosphere of games like Harvest Moon and such, traditional cooking and gardening and reading at the nostalgic countryside grandma's cottage, but there are also definitely plenty of trends and ideas from back then that belong deep in the trash can of history. And even my gran is very forward-thinking and accepting, so being old is no excuse to be bigoted lol.

Neckbeards... You understand that your tradwife would make you bathe regularly, right? She wouldn't allow you to watch pr0n. She definitely wouldn't allow you to do anything beside baby-making. And, since you definitely couldn't handle feeding your animals every day (and assisting cows giving birth is pure joy - ever been elbow deep, trying to pull a calf out?), never mind hunting, trapping, and fishing, nor know how to build a log cabin with your bare hands (be honest, can you even chop wood?)... You literally have nothing to offer a good tradwife. Because, y'know, a tradwife generally wants a tradhusband. But sure, good luck.

Still convinced that a lot of these women are just service submissives. They put so much emphasis on submission and obedience and discipline and it's just so clear that they really want a domestic d/s relationship they just associate that interest with their gender. They think that because submission makes them feel fulfilled that it's that way for all women. It's so frustrating I just want to see them learn about healthy power exchange and get into a healthy relationship with someone who can meet their needs while still respecting them and their boundries instead of some random dude that thinks women are less than and he can do what he wants to them with no regard for if that's what she wants.

Yeah, I didn't get the "neglect your kids so you can take care of your man child husband." At all. Just thought she was talking about making sure to prioritize your relationship sometimes, set aside date nights, or stay in and spend time together just the two of you. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching your children, when they are old enough, some boundaries so mom and dad can have some alone time. Learning how boundaries work is an important part of a child's development, and you are still aloud to have boundaries as an adult. Maybe if her other videos are bad then she does mean physically take care of him, but if this is it, I think it's being taken wildly out of context.

How it should be is: that people are just people, no matter their gender race, or sexual orientation. Gender roles shouldn't be enforced upon people. People should wear what they want clothes are clothes. Your religion is not everyone's and shouldn't be forced onto other people due to your views nor should you force your kids to believe in what you do. Don't use religion as an excuse to discriminate against someone else. Everyone should be allowed to vote. Everyone has a right to health care (abortion and birth control included its healthcare duh). If you're in a relationship sex isn't a requirement, and buying food for someone and demanding sex for it and not paying if you don't get sex is very entitled and it's disgusting. Either be nice and pay for the food or don't. Don't think that you should get something if you do something. A relationship should be mutual understanding with consent if they don't want to have sex don't force them or guilt trip them into it. just because you both are in a relationship doesn't mean you cant assault them, you can.

Weird fact regarding women being “dramatic” and “over emotional”: In the US, men are slightly more likely to get and die of heart attacks, but they are more often fatal in women. There are biological factors that contribute to this, of course, but another oft-cited reason is that women are less likely to tell people when they begin to experience symptoms. They don’t want to seem dramatic, and they literally die because of it.

I have experience with the “your souse should come first” way of parenting. My grandparents raised my dad like that, it was pretty emotionally neglectful and I’m still angry at both of them for it. But because of this, and the fact he was never put first, my dad had this expectation when he got married his wife would do everything for him, but my mum wouldn’t do that- and this expectation combined with basically being neglected during his childhood and some other stuff led to problems in their relationship and him resenting me and my sister for my mum “putting us before him”. My dad is by no means a bad person, but I still have a pretty rocky relationship with him to this day. So not only does that method of parenting deeply effect your children, it also effects your childrens children.

the problem with the last one, even though it's correct in that capitalism has brainwashed us, is that doing all those things should be a viable option (for everyone not just women) while also maintaining some level of financial independence. Because what if you're enjoying this lifestyle where your husband provides for you and one day, the relationship turns bad, or worse abusive? You now have no money of your own and its much harder to get out of that situation. But of course from the tradwife perspective your husband is always right and you should just stick it out anyway.

@@Lesbiansawtrap I do agree with this... Now a relationship is supposed to be a 50/50, but once you start a family it's different. It's still going to be a 50/50 but you as well need to balance work and taking care of children (for whichever parent decides to take care of the kiddies as well) Though, it's also very important that you should keep an eye on your spouse because if they one day can't function right for whatever reason or get really sick, you need to take care of them, so they can get better, take care of yourself so you can function properly enough to take care of the children. And that part its what most people don't understand, you can't just be killing yourself to take care of everyone. There has to be a balance in everything, it can't be just one or the other.

The funniest part to me about my grandmother did without all these modern conveniences and was just fine. Um, all the modern conveniences were invented to make her life easier. If she were to ask her grandmother if she'd rather be hunched over the wash bucket or use a washing machine,she'd choose the washing machine. And her grandmother's youth wasn't that long ago so if her grandmother was doing all that it's very likely they were pretty poor.

To be fair on the trad wife, as crazy as she is regarding most things, she has a partial point about high heels, they are heinously uncomfortable and they gradually bend the wearer's feet into a shape that's not super healthy for them. Though I have dyspraxia, so my muscle and balance issues make high heels especially intolerable for me. Some folks with stronger ankles might do just fine in them, which is cool as long as it's not being pushed on them as a societal beauty obligation. Same with makeup and any other cosmetic stuff, it's great as long as people don't take issue with women who don't want to wear it, and different places will have different cultural tendencies about this I guess. But yeah, these items can absolutely exist without them being automatically anti-woman lol.

@@elenafriese891 this is so true! Small farmers (like homesteaders) usually own the land, but larger farmers either lease/finance it or own it. Funny thing about this "Woman shouldn't work" take is that is so so wrong even from old standards. The only women that didn't work in old times were RICH women, that's it. All the others worked with their husbands, or had works on their owns doing more feminine tasks. The only difference was that their work wasn't recognized as important, or they didn't have the autonomy to do more fulfilling jobs or study. Women worked in all history, they had shitty horrible jobs that no man wanted to do, and most of the time the money went to the husbands or fathers or brothers anyway. They just like to think everyone was rich and important in all times while we have to be grateful, we live in a society that is starting to value the life of each individual.

I guess their grandmamas didn’t school them on “the feminine mystique” (or accurate history in general). I was actually just looking at an old fashion blog in which the “maternity patterns” were all based around concealment- including wearing girdles. Society was more concerned with maintaining the status quo and pretend women don’t get pregnant despite raising them to only be wives and mothers. This was a deeply felt widespread problem that women were too scared to speak of until they knew others felt the same. These creators have a whole lot of privilege and they choose to shit on their fellow christians and regular ppl who don’t believe that bs. From the book; “It begins with an introduction describing what Friedan called "the problem that has no name"-the widespread unhappiness of women in the 1950s and early 1960s. She discusses the lives of several housewives from around the United States who were unhappy despite living in material comfort and being married with children.”

No amount of chickpeas, lentils or even eggs would help. Then I ate two portions of meat in one day, when the cravings were getting especially strong, and I felt super alert and pottered around vacuuming the whole house. It just goes to show that everyone's nutritional needs are different, and vegans are great as long as they understand that not everyone can process plant proteins as well as they do. My best friend is vegetarian purely because she doesn't enjoy meat at all, and she seems to have boundless energy for cracking jokes, dance practice and everything else. I don't get why they want to limit themselves. By that I don't mean that being a trad wife itself is limiting, if that's the lifestyle they feel most comfortable with, that's great for them. I'd love to be a house-spouse, cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc., while my partner brings home the money, that'd be great. I'm a genderfluid trans-man though, so those people wouldn't want ME to have that life, unless I detransitioned and "became" a woman again. And the thing is, they CAN live that life today, as can I (provided we find partners who have enough income to support both of us, which in America is unlikely, but I'm German, here it's difficult too, but not as improbable). We CAN live more or less however we want today (in certain regions of the world, of course), in the fifties or earlier you HAD to live a certain way. I probably wouldn't have lived at all. I wouldn't want to live in any other time than today, except for tomorrow. I love vintage fashion, especially 1920s, and I can wear that today and decorate my place in that style TODAY! But I can actually wear more of it, since I'm not limited to only men's or only women's fashion. I could dress like an 18th century aristocrat, and I would get weird looks, but I'd be fine! And if trad wives don't want the vote, nobody's forcing them! Just live your best, trad wife life, and leave the rest of us in peace! But that's not what it's about, they don't want to be meak and quiet and submissive, they want to appear like that, feel like they're better than the rest of us because they follow "traditional gender norms", but they love speaking their mind and trying to influence politics when it's about forcing their lifestyle on others.

She probably said "land owning men" because with her logic we would also be going back to racism being okay and people of color weren't allowed to own land or it was extremely hard to obtain. So on top of internalized misogyny we have internalized racism. Of course I could be stretching it

That woman who was like "only land owning men" likely also wants those men to also only be white
