I did not realize how beautiful I was and why men kept looking at me until I aged and no man looks at me (husband included after turning 50). I am now trying to find a second career while waiting to die. I need to do something that will make the days go by faster. Sadly.

No! You have much more value now ever! You're no longer burdened by the striving to attract men, or full of anxious concerns about achieving childbearing before those years are up. Now you are FREE to really be you. Discover what you can do to impact a small corner of the world and then do it. Help those in need. Make a change. And grow relationships with good friends. Be a good friend. Life is brief but it can be abundantly rich.

Yeah... sixty four and she seems full of B's to me.ostly because she keeps talking about her hot personal appearance. She uses all the buzz words, but isn't really saying anything. She is saying we don't want to be invisible. I am embracing invisibility as a super power -- like Harry Potter's cloak. Finally, mini mal creepy male attention.

I love this video/ talk! At 48, I feel great, and I LOVE being able to get to experience getting older, not everybody does. I am grateful to see other women (Justine Bateman, Jane Fonda, Paulina Porizkova) embracing life and aging. 💚💜💙🧡

“For me, the fear was about getting older and being invisible.” Yes to this! So many of the women I work with have the same fear. It's valid. Learning more about Invisible Woman Syndrome is a huge help in empowering ourselves. We're not failing as we're aging - we're part of a system that sets us up to fail. But we get to determine a different outcome and that's powerful.

Men: women age like milk, because your only value is your look and youthfulness, we don’t care about your personality and personal goals, which is why you see many men trading their wives for younger women when they CAN do it Also men: omg why do women hate men so much???? Such misandrists

There can be no shame in naturally reoccurring gray hair, even though women over forty seem to think there is. There is, however, a lot of shame in streaking blond dyed hair in the over sixty age group of women who think they will never look their age as an old hag.

Such a strange talk. Yes of course you are not interesting to men when you are that old. Leave men alone. Do something on your own, pursue things, join some organization. You are no longer an object of desire and you should accept that. It is not like you did not know that this would happen eventually. That is why most women get married before 30 and have a family, so they do not have end up alone in their 60s without children and grand children.
@dezerismith75295 күн бұрын
Be kind, because everyone's experience in this life can be different from yours, but just because you can't relate? Doesn't mean that what another person is going through is less valuable or less important to them so give them grace, like you might need sometimes to.🩷🙏🏽
