I am 65, a widow, on .43 acres in suburbs. My “tractor” is a 20 hp Craftsman lawn mower. After having surgery for pelvic fractures and having impaired mobility, my tractor was my life savor. I could get out and mow the yard and feel useful.

Brooke, you do such a great job breaking down everything about your tractor 🚜. I never understood how anyone could love and enjoy bush hogging and such, but now I get it. It's beautiful and being out surrounded by nature while you are accomplishing a task....watching the sky and seeing all the green around! Amazing! You are an amazing person! And you can do sooooo much with that machine! Bless the inventor and manufacturers! 🚜

Oh my goodness Brooke you just helped me so much . I have been so afraid of getting and operating a tractor. You just took all that fear away . I've got so many things here on our 5 acres that a tractor would make my life so much easier. I'm disabled and there's so much I can't do manually that I could get accomplished with a tractor. God bless you . You and your family make my days so much brighter. My prayers are always with Coghill.
@DebbiMarie2 жыл бұрын
Please don’t let time pass by being afraid. Brooke showed how effective she could accomplish so much more,especially with the disability you have. Get going and enjoy the nature and enjoy living. I explained that had I done that in my younger self while having property, even though disabled, I let “fear stand in my way”!!! Don’t do that to yourself and instead treasure your time now. Good days ahead and be encouraged that YOU CAN DO IT!!!😊

Brooke, I admire you fulfilling your dream. Women can do anything when they put their mind to it and driving heavy equipment is one of them. I know, because I used to drive one of the largest Yale tow motor trucks that the distribution center that I worked in had! I enjoyed the power and respected the power of the machine. You go girl!

I drove an 18 wheeler as team driver with my hubby for 10 years. Then I got off the road and he continued by himself when we changed companies. I'd had my license before CDL s became a thing, so my chauffer license was grandfathered in. We women can do anything we set our minds to. 🤷

This video is going to be evergreen for women (and men) who want tractors, want to know more about how they work, what we can accomplish with them and how we can improvise with our lawn tractors while we save for a large tractor. That's an idea. I have watched videos of a guy who cleans big rugs, a lady who shears sheep, and a guy who mows people's way overgrown lawns for free. Sometimes it's just cathartic to watch something like that getting done. I think that watching a bush hogging video when it's time to relax could be really nice.

Happy to hear the novelty of your tractor hasn't worn off yet. I grew up on a Hostein Dairy farm, we had several tractors, BUT the BULLDOZER my Dad used for making roads in the woods and moving tons of snow in the winter was MAGICAL. Your H setting is if you're out on the highway/road to keep up with traffic. Brooke Brook Brooke - PLEASE do a show on how you used your INSTAPOT whilst not having a kitchen? I bought one, because of you and a lady instructing us on canning in an instapot but I am a FAILURE at making decent tasting food cooked in an instapot! So far I made chicken which as awful then a potato soup which at least was edible. PLEASE DO A TUTORIAL ON YOUR INSTAPOT MEAL......

Great video Brooke, as we get older it's been harder to take care of thing, so it was either give up the life we love so much or get a better tractor. We had a 1951 International and used it for years but then when I met Ms. Kubota , she changed my world lol. She carries my feed she tills my gardens she does anything I want her to do I even use her to pick apples from the trees I just jump in the bucket and up I go, so because of her I will keep living the life I want for many years to come, I'm very grateful for her!
