@walterp10283 ай бұрын
@@bjornborg4849the problem is that just the approaching hundreds of women to find the right one is the part of the reason we are having these dating issues today. For the last 2 or 3 generations now, that is all they tell people. What I can tell you, if you go back to silent gen and early boomers, that is not how dating went. People were generally much more invested in each others lives than they are today. Today people tend to be a lot more selfish and focusing on themselves than their fellow acquaintences. That investment helps building extremely strong households with very low rates of divorce due to the investment into each others lives before dating. Example, my grandpa was born in '44 and my grandma was born in '45 about 14 months apart. They first met each other at church when he was 6 and she was 5. They grew up together in the same church. She was truly invested in his life and vice versa. In highschool, they started dating. He left for college in another state. She graduated the following year and went to a different college, but couldn't stand not being with him as they were both already so invested in each other's lives by growing up together. She made the big move, swapped universities to his just so she could be with him, and they got married at 21. Because of that strong bond, she was truly with him through thick and thin till death did they part. Whether that be when he was an Army Ranger being deployed to Vietnam, through economic struggles, or living the hard retired life as a rancher till he passed. He passed in 2020 to leukemia. Always working. Relationships haven't been like that now for multiple generations. People think that the best method for a good strong relationship is just a numbers game. No, the strongest relationships is someone who you have built and invested your life with. That is why only 6 out 1000 men are still getting married and why the divorce rates of those are still at around 50%. If you haven't invested any time into each other as people, why even date first? Just because of a physical attractiveness? That is why relationships now are horrible and are failing significantly. This can be backed by the fact that Pew Research found that 63% of men under 30 are single. 30% of all adult americans are not married or engaged in a committed relationship.

Women who are financially secure, or who are sure they don't want/cant have children, or who are more mature and have already raised children, are not concerned with the 'provider' aspect. True there are golddiggers out there, but for most women the importance of a man being able to provide was never about her, it was for the benefit of the kids they would likely raise in the future. Guys generally seem to be oblivious to the obvious reasons why their earning potential matters to women of child bearing age.

It's an age of discovering, most aren't thinking about future, romantic love is a new emotion to them so yes kids of both genders don't think much about other things than physically attractive (most cases), for some people it stays more than teenage to they turn 20. As people mature, the priorities changes, they become more realistic, genuine and appreciate a real bond. Yes some people find live in high school but for most people it's an age of experience, and we shouldn't judge them on that, rather on what choices they are making as an adult. This is my husband. Everyday he brings me coffee in bed, will hold the door open for a random stranger and he’s simply the most loving and kind dad. He’s such a gentle soul. So incredibly grateful he’s my partner.

I expressed to my first wife a suggested lifestyle that we could expect in a five year and ten year plan. Within three years we were divorced. As soon as the house and new car was paid off I was booted out. I was deemed a BAD Husband!

Im sorry this happened. But just to clarify for most women its not just about money. We need to feel safe emotionally and physically too. Not just financially. There was probably more going on that she was unhappy about, at least from her perspective. Sorry.

@@resheaparker2725 most men a lot of men tell us women its all about the money . i remember my dad told me around 17 yrs old. "Donna don't ever rely on anyone especlly a man for money. they will have complete control over you" I saw it with my friends neighbors he was right.

And there’s the charming women that are sociopaths and have bipolar or borderline personality disorder that are attracted to good and kind men because they can use and control them to their advantage. And if the man is disconnected from her defending himself, he’s a neglectful husband.

Currently getting over a break up with one of those Jezebels 😒 I don't even know why I feel kinda depressed over it, I know it's for the best. I'm guessing I need to work on my game more, and get into more situations where I can meet more of a quiet, kinda shy, good hearted woman

I have a learning disability since my mother drunk alcohol during her pregnancy. Long story short: I’m not intelligent. Neither am I witty, funny or anything like that nor am I a good provider in general terms. I can only work in minimum wage occupations. How should I overcome this. I’m already 34 and never had a girlfriend, or a date. I asked women out, but they all rejected me. What should I do? I’m tired living in isolation for something I had no control over.

Go to groups/classes/book clubs/gym classes/church/or any event that you enjoy. It takes a few months at any of these to get to know people. Don't come on too strong or act desperate or whiny. Also, most importantly.. say a prayer!
