I had a friend who grew up a male feminist, was a total soy-boy in every way, went to college and got a degree in film with a focus on feminist studies. He couldn't get a job, couldn't make a friend, couldn't get a girlfriend, and had a massive debt that he was bound to forever and might have to work the rest of his life washing dishes to pay it off. So he self-eliminated. While he wasn't a very close friend, more of a friendly acquaintance, I still considered him a friend and hate that he essentially perished for doing everything he was told to do. He just wanted to be loved and appreciated and realized too late he had allowed the people he trusted to make him into a door mat.

You forgot the demotivation of theft by taxation and inflation. I've worked, saved, and invested for twenty years. I make double the average income. I don't live extravagantly or even go on trips. My fifteen-plus year old car has rust holes and my truck is over thirty years old. I can't afford what I want, which isn't extravagant or unreasonable. The more time I spend saving for my goals, the further out of reach my goals become for regulation and costs. Every time I increase my income, Uncle Satan steals even more. I ask myself every day why do I keep running the rat race? No wife, no family, and I don't have time to even do much of what I enjoy because I'm too busy with responsibilities. I can understand why a man would do the bare minimum. Free time to enjoy the simple pleasures that are left to us today is worth a lot.

My friend, pardon my lack of tact, but please get more financial literacy. You should be beating inflation. Don't merely save, even in high yield savings accounts. Learn to invest and where to invest. It's not enough these days to merely "work harder" and control spending. We need to constantly keep our minds fresh and up-to-date with more information and "work smarter". Almost anyone can work hard. But Most people don't have the self-discipline and motivation to learn more and become more efficient.
@grantwithers
@grantwithers 4 ай бұрын
@@asw654 i'm sure he knows all about that, as he mentioned investing. None of "beating inflation" takes away from the overall demotivation instilled by the rampant inflation in modern economies. And couple that with exploding housing costs compared to say the 60's it's a perfect demotivation storm.

Can we also add in the increased barriers to entry for even the most mundane jobs? Gotta take a test to work at home Depot. Wanna enlist in the military? Tons of pre screening. Any white collar jobs along that degree you paid and spent years earning (that might actually be worth something)? Compete with hundreds of other candidates for 1 position or find out the position is already filled and you applied to a ghost job. Please write an essay showing your enthusiasm for joining the Walmart team as a retail associate! It's mind numbing thinking that all this extra bullshit was added when back in the day you could just walk in to places and have a job.

Then you can either look for a job or hopefully your apprenticeship company takes you on.

Now that hes grown and in college Im now questioning if I should even keep trying to work as hard as I have. Im looking for a way out of the rat race, as the dreams I had as a kid and young man were taken from me before I was even born. I have some options to get me out luckily due to my time in the Army. Giving up and not trying to fix yourself is for losers. If you dedicate yourself to improving yourself in increments and snowballing those improvements into bigger ones, you can overcome the struggle. Granted, I come from a conservative family and it took a lot of hard talks for me to get over myself, but I genuinely believe that there's plenty of men still capable and worthy of being saved. The starting point though is definitely dropping all leftist politics. Men: What's the point in even trying?
@lancemusashi6368

I'm that 32 year old man living at home. Good career, lotsa money in the bank. Still, I suffer from lack of motivation. Moving out seems pointless when I could be using that money to help pay for my parent's cheap rent. It's way better than burning away all the money I earn fast in order to afford the city I grew up in. It seems every possible future step I could take in life is a landmine. I just wanna find a way to future proof my career and earn consistent income to afford the city since I cannot drive. It's not a disability, I just literally can crash my car if I don't have my meds, of which there's a constant shortage. I don't think it makes sense to force people to have to drive to get around. That was a choice made by a government who was influenced by the automobile industry's profit interests. As much as many here bash cities, I'd rather live in a city. And in this city, I can partake in more activities. I don't have to drive 2 hours to go wrestling with the guys for instance. The only issue is the lack of space and inability to prep if SHTF. That's a rather okay tradeoff if I could save up to buy land in the nearby suburbs/rural patch. Idk. What else can I do?

Great video... Ironically I think that feminism freed men from the duty of having to protect and support a woman...it lifted that burden from our shoulders. I'm 44...I never had a girlfriend...I am thankful for that. It's funny...I'm going through the greatest moment of my life...I climbed the highest mountain of my country last month...I am hitting the gym regularly, I'm really motivated to become the best version of myself...and you know the best part...I do it for me...I'm not trying to impress any girls...If anything I am doing this so I can have look back at my life with a smile when I'm about to die...I want to have my own house...my own car...travel around the world...I couldn't do that when I was busy putting women on a pedestal trying to impress them acting like a fool and feeling sorry for myself.

Also, what’s the point of living longer if you are miserable? I contemplate offing myself for math reasons (I’m Catholic so I can’t). For me it is not just grocery bills, clothes, & etc, but also all my medical expenses. Yes, funerals are expensive, but after that hump I’m sure my family will cumulatively save more in the long run.

I disagree: Men working less and becoming lazier isn’t due to a lack of necessity for them to do that, it’s due to a lack of reward. Beggars and leeches have always existed, but the thing that’s creating more and more of them is essentially nihilism. They know that, in our society, you can’t be successful unless you’re exceptional. An average guy will end up working 2 jobs into his 30s before moving to one crappy one he hates, and barely being able to afford rent on his crappy apartment, never getting a girlfriend, and keeling over at 75 without ever having retired, because that’s what capitalism and feminism has done to us, so why would they even try? An average guy will see no reward for taking the hard path so why wouldn’t they take the easy one? Every basement dwelling loser i’ve ever met has had this attitude.

Imo, no it cannot. The system will have to fail in order for the people to see the folly of their poor or corrupt worldview that caused them to enact heinous and asinine policies that counters human nature itself. You also have to remember the real reason why masculinity is attacked is so that tyranny can rise without little to no retaliation. A nation with strong men is not easily controlled, but a nation with weak men can be. Once more welfare and restrictive policies are put in place in the future, this will help secure a more tyrannical rule by the government. Once that all happens, the only way to change things around is through the loss of many lives to get are rights back. That is also the bigger game being played here too. That is why Aaron added the point about woman voting guns away as well. Everything they are voting for is being done out of security but in order to get that from a government, the only price you pay for that outcome in society is your with your freedom. Once that is done the only way to get out of tyrannical rule is through only one way... Violence

Men are seeking less employment, but it's not because of women. The prognosis of working every day to earn an honest living just isn't as good as it used to be. You slave away, breaking down your body until it barely functions, and all you've done is make your company rich. While you can't afford to buy a house. You're renting forever. Since I'm willing to be robbed, I go to work every day because I feel I need it mentally, but I am insane. It's also something I need to support my family, so that helps too. Some people have neither of these things and I can understand why they don't work.

I would argue you have cause and effect reversed when it comes to married men. A man who has no job and not much money can’t afford to go to bars and clubs or have social hobbies to meet women, he can’t meet someone at work, even if he does somehow find a woman interested in him he can’t really take her out on any kind of date, and he definitely can’t afford a wedding or honeymoon so even if he did get a girl why even bother getting married. Married men are also on average older than unmarried men and therefore more advanced in their careers, and of course, there’s no denying that many women will simply be more attracted to a guy with money and a job than someone without those things. It’s not “married men make more than unmarried men”, it’s “men who make more money are more likely to get married”

I'm 34 years old, only worked full time a grand total of 2 years in my life, never collected a disability or welfare payment. My parents were affluent-ish and had 2 houses so when my dad died young, I got one for almost free (just had to pay the last 20k of mortgage) in my early 20s. My life has been fucking awesome. I've spent the last decade mostly doing what I want all day every day. Do a piss-easy job from home for 20 hours a week while playing more video games. Government pays for my healthcare (thanks Obama!). Haven't had a girlfriend in over a decade, still a virgin, but who cares? Internet porn is free and gets the job done just fine. I smoke weed, I play videogames, and thanks to cryptocurrency I''ve got more saved for retirement than most my age. It's funny that so many people are "blackpilled" about this society, because this is the best life I can imagine. I don't care at all about being a "good man" for either the left or the right, for men or for women. Why should I? I just don't care. I am the Nietzschean Last Man and I'm fine with it. Will I be sad when I'm old and dying in a nursing home with no grandkids? Yeah, probably, but most old people end up in nursing homes and their kids and grandkids may as well be strangers who they see for one or two days a year so I don't see what difference it makes. The fact that me living such a comfy life causes boomers and gen-x-ers and normie women to seethe, only makes it sweeter.

I don't fully agree with the premise. We wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for the past generation of men being incapable of setting their foot down. It seems to me that everything went downward as soon as sex before and outside of marriage became a thing. The men of that time made the Faustian bargain of saying yes all the time (for access) whilst women made the bargain for all of her asks. Both effectively pulled the ladder up behind themselves as the next generations degraded. The men and women of our time are no better of course as most will behave in the exact same manner. Nothing will change until we change.
