Hey guys! Today we are talking about women that like to proclaim "they don't need no man" but find out the hard way that they DO. Some women make the mistake believing they can do everything themeselves... I give 3 good examples of women that are making this EXACT mistake. Let me know if you agree or disagree!

We live in a rural community. My daughter called me because she forgot how to check her oil. I told her to go to dollar general and open her hood and a guy in a ball cap would be right there to help her. She argued that there was no attendant at dollar general. I repeated my instructions. She called me back 5 minutes later…she was still fiddling with the hood latch when someone asked if she needed help…yes he was wearing a ball cap.

This seems like a good place to tell this story. I'm a truck driver. Earlier this week I was delivering a small order of water heaters to a plumbing supply store. The unloader was a fairly young girl, probably college age, and some of the water heaters, weighing about 50 pounds each, were double stacked. She asked if I would help her get them unstacked, which I did. The genuine gratitude she showed, and the way she was chatting with me, have kept me thinking about that 20 minutes all week. I'm used to young women treating me as a threat by default and getting away from me as soon as possible, even when all I'm doing is standing there. She treated me like I was valuable and worth getting to know a little bit.

@@mwalshisme any man can be a deadly threat to a woman and unfortunately I have heard stories of everything from movers to guys masquerading as plumbers. BUT all that said in my time on this earth I believe in innocent until proven guilty. Plus it's not like I'm helpless I might not fight off corn fed concrete Fred but 45 ACP hot loaded for dealing with feral hogs can. I had a man help me lift things I was well able to myself just to make the day easier on me and in return I made him a loaf of homemade cheese bread so loaded it I put 3/4 a pound of cheese in it. My grandmother taught me that hard working men get hungry so if you make a man work hard FEED HIM.

And MUCH stronger. I took a self defense class and it was very difficult to hit the “cupped” male instructor in the groin, with the palm of my hand. But he helped me to overcome it. Thank you for helping we women, feel more competent-confident if the situation should ever arise. I read about a middle aged woman nurse, who defended herself from a man who had a knife, and was paid to kill her in her own home, by her ex husband. She killed him. What I learned from her situation is to “stay close,” body wise.

Never ever touch or attempt to fix a female’s car. Ever! A work colleague, stopped to help a ‘lady’ broken down at the side of the road. He successfully got her rolling again. On be known to him, she had recorded his license plate. Several week later he received an attorneys letter seeking settlement for allegedly causing damage to her vehicle. She was looking $2,300. The issue had been the alternator belt was slipping and not charging the battery sufficiently. He adjusted the alternator and tighten. She was claiming he had damaged the transmission, and claimed it needed to be replaced. Although, my work colleague doesn’t believe the alternator belt was deliberately loosened, I don’t think it is far fetched to believe this was a deliberate action, to try and get a new transmission and install costs covered. In the end he actually paid $1,000 to be done with it. He’ll not be so quick to stop and help next time. That’s a sad indictment of many younger women and society as a whole.

Actually, the men had lots of problems too, like not being able to get enough food. There was one guy who was actually good at fishing and made up the bulk of the group's food, and actually refused to fish for them at one point due to drama. Starvation was also still a constant threat, and while they did do astronomically better than the women, it's still like saying you only got third-degree burns on just your foot instead of your entire body. Also, they killed a crocodile but didn't know how to preserve it, so they lost the majority of it to rotting.

In most cases I just ask if they had everything they need to make the repair. I asked the same question of a young female rider with a flat tire. She said said yes, and I carried on, but I passed the same location an hour later and she was still there. Turned out she has no tools at all…so I bailed her out. I’ve helped, and been helped, by other male riders without issue. On the flip side, I broke a chain once and had forgotten my repair tool. A young woman who came across me walking out was proud to offer me use of hers…well raised lass.

My wife and I were together for almost 40 years (before her passing from cancer) and we were aware of our lack of ABSOLUTE NEED for each other - BUT we knew that being a couple, in good times and not, had a positive total effect on our lives, our children and our friends. Although not 'perfect', our lives were definitely more complete and whole.

My late father, who gave me a small toolbox for the trunk when I bought my first car, My late husband, who put more tools into it than he ever borrowed from it, and made sure I knew how and when to use them, and an old farmer who told me to never go anywhere without a length of baling wire coiled up next to the toolbox. Anyone old enough to drive *could* handle things like this...*IF* they bother to learn what to do, and how. I refused to let any of my kids have a car to drive until they could demonstrate to me, checking the fluids and add fluids in their proper place, and to change a tire.. No exceptions.. since we lived near the mountains and my truck was a standard, if they wanted to drive it that had to learn the stick and be able to start in the middle of the hill in the driveway, and demonstrate to me they could go up the hill from a dead stop on gravel, and take off without spinning the tires.. I would demonstrate 5 or 6 times before letting them use it. There was a hill in town on pavement that stressed my ability to not roll back ... the oldest girl had her grandpa teach her to drive after she was 18.. she finally learned stick on the column.... sitting with her ways made me nervous .. my oldest son took over 3 hours going up the hill before he mastered it.❤

In 2022, my dad was very proud of the 2 young men he had raised. We were in the truck on the beach when we came up behind a woman who had stalled out in the sand. He didn't have to say a word. We hopped out and helped push her car out as well as gave her a few pointers to avoid getting stuck again. She thanked us profusely and the thing that stuck out to me was my dad was just so proud! Saying something along the lines of "I knew I raised you right." Also, I'm not gonna pretend it doesn't go the other way sometimes too. God made Eve because Adam needed help. Genesis 2:20 says "The man gave names to all the tame animals, all the birds of the air, and all the wild animals; but none proved to be a helper to the man" and right after that, God makes Eve. Women need us, but we need them too.

Like many men, as a guy who’s been working on engines and all things mechanical since I was 11, I definitely know the frustration of that awkward part that refuses to budge. All things plastic on a car are of course just nasty, but few jobs threw up a more difficult obstacle than the tapered pin holding the gear change mechanism on on the gearbox of the SAAB 99 who’s engine I was removing back in 1985. Yes, I’m sure the air was blue with choice oaths, but the temptation to cry or give up was obviously never an option. And because it was pre internet, and the Haynes manual didn’t identify the pin as tapered, and definitely didn’t specify which way it had to be removed, my frustration level was so high that I almost asked my dad for his advice. But after an hour lying on my back under the car that was precariously propped up on bricks, with no room to swing a hammer, I eventually drifted it free, using the third improvised punch that I made out of an old screw. Of course I lay there in all the grease and ten years of road dirt, and just laughed my head off. There ARE girls who have similar experiences, and who are able to apply a similar mindset to such situations. But they are rare, very very rare indeed. And that’s probably how it should be. However, if I ever meet one, I may keep her. Peace 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

There was a lot of material to be carried up that ladder and he was two stories up. But he did it one piece at a time. Seeing him up on that ledge scared my wife. She was like who in their right mind would do that? I said honey look around. Pretty much everything you see every tall building, every powerline, Every water tower, cell tower, sewer, and all that was built by men. She was like yeah, but it’s so dangerous. I was like yeah, but it pays good, which is why they do it. She asked if I had ever done something like that and I said yeah and a lot of guys have. It takes a lot of people to build all the stuff around us and not everyone makes a lifelong career out of it so just out of the sheer amount of “dangerous” jobs and added in people who did it but chose a different career path, yeah there’s A LOT of guys that have done dangerous work. Furthermore, the "damsel in distress" has also been used as bait for some nice guy who stops to help, and then Damsel's male accomplice explodes out of the bushes and robs our hero. Sorry, Boss Babe, I don't stop, and I don't simp. --Old Guy

Saw one recently where the man and his lady engage in play wrestling, and how he always lets her just barely overpower him. She was bragging about how strong she was and that he couldn't win a wrestle. He then proceeded to comprehensively pin her down in about a second flat - and she was shocked! Then she was hurt and upset, once she realised he'd been humouring her by letting her win previous tussles. Big reality check for her.

I have seen also a vid where an elderly men stares at a woman doing the same exercise with 192 lbs. when she looks up, (almost) offended, he cheers her on and says “No way I could have done that, go on girl, you got it!” And respectfully turns away after that.Showing that some men look in awe at the achievement, not at a “piece of meat”. That’s also gym etiquette.

The elderly man probably still got kicked out of the gym. Why? Because the woman isn't interested in being noticed by elderly men even in a non-sexual admiring way. They only appreciate interest in being noticed by men they might consider sleeping with. Women want to be noticed only by men they themselves are interested in. Everyone else is, "Ewww. Toxic!"

That second woman with the car really pisses me off. True, she doesn't need a man, she needs someone to teach her basic reading skills. The cover for the oil is labeled, "ENGINE OIL ONLY," has the same picture of an oil can as on the oil pressure gauge in the car (although, some newer cars omit that gauge), and has the oil type to be used. The washer cap is labeled, "WASHER FLUID ONLY," and again has the same picture as the one in the car to activate the washer spray. Two seconds to read and she wouldn't have made that mistake. But what really gets me is this guy helps her out, and she has the audacity to say, "I'm recording and I have a witness." Really? That's how you treat someone helping you out, as if they are trying to harm you or your car? This is a prime example of why men don't help random women out anymore. If it had been me I'd have handed her back the oil pan drain plug, stated, "I'm done, lots of luck finishing up," and walked away.

My wife and I were traveling and I got my truck and travel trailer stuck in some sand and very loose gravel a few years back. (Long story but thank you Google Maps) We were pretty remote and the road nearby was not well traveled but it just so happened that the next vehicles I saw were a group of people in three trucks, all hauling ATV's, and they pulled over to help us. Pickups pulling ATV's...those are the kind of guys that can get shit done. We were stuck bad. Their wives actually prayed out loud that we could get it freed. It took 3 or 4 hours and we lost daylight but...between the men, and the women, we got it out. So we needed the men and the women that day.

You absolutely don’t need a woman, but you should have a woman. For you, it’s not about need. It is about your responsibility and duty. You have an obligation to continue your family line no matter what unfortunate circumstances pervade in your culture. Unlike women, marriage is not something you need to do rather it’s what you should do. Men can fix a car alone but you can’t fix a culture alone. Stay strong, Stay determined. We’re in this together.

I can change a tire (my dad taught me how when I first learned to drive), but I knew it would take me forever and would rather avoid it. But a guy at the gas station heard me asking where the air was and he offered to change my tire to the donut spare for me. I was extremely grateful to him for it and he made it so much easier for me. Back in the 80s I saw a stranded young lady with her hood open and smoke or steam just rolling out of it. I changed direction on the highway and pulled up behind her. She was on her way from Ohio to PA to go to college. Turns out she had blown a coolant hose 3/4 inch. I just so happened to have brand new hose of that exact size in my trunk and spare coolant. So I got to work changing her hose and put in the gallon of coolant I had. It was still not enough so I told her to sit tight until I got back and went and filled two gallon coolant containers to get her on the road again. I git her all fixed up. Checked her other hoses and advised to get them all inspected by a qualified mechanic when she got to college. She tried to pay my but I told her no thanks. If it were my wife or little girl stranded, I would want a good man or lady to stop and help them no questions asked. In this day and age though, I'm not sure I would, because of false accusations and so much man hating going on. And hell, now days you never know if it's a setup! It ain't worth the risk anymore. She saw boys fight, cry, poop on themselves, fail, be successful. She came to understand that there were differences between the boys. She had no false expectations and wasn't coached by other girls who knew nothing about boys.

Emily, this first video clip was hilarious to me. First, I rolled my eyes and then it dawned on me: This is exactly how my ex is when she has car problems but without the crying; she just gets angry. Once she called me while I was on the way to work to assist her because she had a flat tire. She prefaced the request by leveraging the children. “But the kids are with me and they have to get home for lunch!” All I did was take the stuff she had on board to use and swap it out for her spare donut. She could’ve done it, but she wanted to waste my time. Do you think she bothered to allow me any bonus time with my kids? No. She kept them in the car as if I were a shopkeep turnscrew she was hiring to do roadside service. There was another occasion where I was picking up my kids at their house and when I arrived, she was struggling with the process of replacing her wiper blades on the same vehicle. Rather than ask during her growing frustration, she got frustrated to the point where she threw them on the ground and stormed back into the house, presumably to get a tool? I have no idea because by the time she got back, she had new windshield wipers installed on her car. She uses her little tirades as a way to manipulate me into doing it without asking properly like a human being. She does this because she knows I will make sure the car she uses to drive my children around is safe. Despite being a PhD level university professor, she’s still not mature enough to ask as an adult. That said, she DID sort of ask me to do the brakes on the same car. Sort of because she still passive aggressively got me to suggest doing the brakes at home by whining about how every shop wanted too much money to do the work. I told her brakes are easy to do. But she pushed and eventually held being able to see my kids over my head until I agreed to be the one to actually do the work. Because I am poor, unhoused, and know how to repair things with her being the one holding the cards, has a house…etc, She knows she can manipulate me by using the children as tools to do it. She is a special kind of stupid PhD and one of those people who does not believe she needs a man, except for the fact humans are not capable of parthenogenesis…yet. But once I served that role as genetic material provider for her desired perfect number of two children, I was fired from my husband role. But dear poƃ in heaven, don’t have a vehicle emergency or any kind of mechanical emergency because holy ʇıɥs! Then I’m needed again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am a professional mechanic and have been for 30 years. When I worked at a Ford dealership, you would be amazed at how many diesel engines we had to replace because women filled the tank with gas instead of diesel fuel. You can put diesel in a gas engine and it will not hurt the engine. It won't run but it also won't hurt the engine. Now, gasoline in a diesel engine will be ok as long as you don't try to start it and have it towed to a shop and get all the gasoline out. But, it never happens that way. Many of the trucks were brand new too. 15k the customer had to pay. I've also seen the washer fluid in the engine. I've seen cooking oil poured in the engine because their car was out of oil and they had the cooking oil in the kitchen. They told me like they were proud of themselves for thinking of that. I've seen women who bought a hybrid and never put gas in it after the first tank ran out. They had it towed in because it stopped running. I kid you not, they thought the thing would just keep running forever.

As a woman, more like a late 20’s gal with an inch of a broken left arm, I know how to use gym equipments. Thank you very much. Even when men can’t even rerack their weights, I can use my small hands and take the weights off the rack. My family was kind of abusive and always gave me attitude whenever I ask for help or did not know an answer to a problem. So I grew up doing things myself even if it’s wrong or not right. I would love to ask for help, but everytime I get in the process of asking, I get this ptsd feeling that men in particular will not help and I’m on my own. By the way, I use to hire a man to teach me how to drive and my dad would help, but these people would never be clear enough for me to learn how to park a car. Instead, when I hired an old lady, within an hour of meeting her, she taught me the most simplest way to park a car. And pumping gas is not different to checking your food items in a self scanner. If my left arm was fully fixed, I could carry heavier things without cramping. And if my hands were larger, I would have a better grip on things. I don’t think an oil change is an easy thing unless you have the proper tools to change it. We all know we need men to build houses, but my perspective is, if you weren’t taught or destined to do things on your own, you’ll always rely on somebody else to do it and that can be a burden sometimes.

Emily quote: "the second their life becomes not so easy, they are going to look to a man" I would word it: "the second their life becomes not so easy, they will angrily blame the patriarchy" This 'correction' is meant in good humor. Emily, this is a great vid, thank you.

My wife is a very independant woman who knew when she needed my help and wasnt ashamed or afraid to ask for it. Im a lucky man to have her. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I've always considered myself pretty independent, but I've never been foolish enough to think I don't need help from men. I have strengths, but definitely, there are so many things I can't do that come so easily to my husband. And I'm not prideful or stupid enough not to ask for his help. I love how strong and helpful men are. Men are so great! God bless men!

I agree, and if they can afford all the cosmetics, jewelry, tats, and salon visits, then there's no excuse not to have roadside assistance and a cellphone.

My "She don't need no man" woman timed it perfectly.........After building , on weekends, a study, with a garage and a kitchen for her ....she decided she didn't need a man....within 2 hours of receiving a signed off permit from the local building inspector that the structure was finished and up to code....The cunning was absolute and ruthless.....Wish I had never employed my construction skills nor my time.....

That's their nature , men are only , at best , mere utilites to women , nothing more. In her view , you served your purpose & were predictably discarded.
