If you resume a relationship that has fractured and DON'T address the hold insude yourself, then the relationship will end again. You must seek out personal growth as your highest priority. No monogamous person is able to see themselves with another person when a break-up is raw. That doesn't mean that it's not in the cards. Don't hang your happiness on someone else's shoulders. So if I were going soley off my own experience and not listening to anyone else who had periods, I would say they aren't that bad...but there ARE people who need some time off to rest and deal with them! My anxiety is so bad that i can't leave my house, and barely leave my bedroom or do anything different because i get too anxious. I've been in my house for 8 months straight, barely leaving my bedroom exept for eating and going to the toilet. Today, despite not being able to go to the hairdressers, i cut my hair (by myself) for the first time in a while, showered, brushed my teeth and am planning to go outside later today (if my anxiety lets me lol) and do something physical. Jamie helped me through a lot- realising i was trans, starting my social transition, getting a binder, and understanding myself a lot more. Seeing his videos is what gave me the confidence to cut my hair, because of a comment he made in an earlier video, about a year ago, about making progress; "sometimes you need to go back a little to go forward" despite being terrified and not in any way a hairdresser. It's not amazing, but it makes me feel better about myself. Thank you so much, Jamie :) What seems like a small achievement for some, is massive for me. I will say, as a caveat to the “body hair on women is normal”, (just to be clear, it is), but excessive body hair in women, particularly in your chin and face, could be a sign of PCOS. Not always, but if you feel off wrong, or it develops out of nowhere, PLEASE don’t let anyone keep you from getting checked out and don’t let them gaslight you! Lol 😂 🙏🏽

15:58 I don't know. You have to plan ahead for an epidural. If you're in too much pain they wont give it to you because the pain makes you unable to have informed consent (or something like that). So maybe, a heads up would be better than having a traumatic birthing.
@katrinadaly17552 ай бұрын
Also after a certain point in labour you’re unable to have an epidural altogether because 1) either you’ll have too much pain to be able to hold still well enough for someone to insert a needle and drugs into your spine or 2) the baby moving down/out of the uterus and turning pushes on your spine and changes the trajectory of where an epidural needle will end up in the right part of your spine to actually do anything at all/might actually hit a nerve and cause permanent damage/paralysis from that point down… yay natural birth 😳

They haven't "tied" tubes in more than 3 decades. Tubal Ligation (literally cutting the tubes) is generally done with cauterizing them. Reversal can be attempted with a very very low success rate if there is enough tubal stuff to extend to the ovary. Oopherectomy, often done with a full hysterectomy, is the removal of an ovary and, like hysterectomy, is generally only done when there is a serious malfunction issue like cysts, endometriosis, cancer, gender affirmation, etc. Basically the equivalent of someone having testes removed. Like hysterectomy it's not done to prevent reproduction, though it does that, too, but generally as a 'side effect' to the actual reason for the surgery. Hysterectomy and oopherectomy are invasive surgeries that can require extended recovery even though it's now (and for the last couple decades) done via laparoscopy. My mom's hysterectomy when she was in her 40s was a full belly cut and a couple months of in bed recovery. Mine around the same age a bit over a decade ago was laparoscopy with small incisions and able to walk around the block in a week.
@bunhelsingslegacy35494 ай бұрын
Tubal ligation for me was like a week recovery, no pain meds Yeeting an ovary with a dermoid cyst was at least 6 weeks on anti-inflammatories. I'd' imagine a hysterectomy cranks that up a few more notches in intensity of recovery...

I cut my hair very short after covid so I could donate it. I had it rather long because I was planning to get it cut before a wedding, but the wedding was cancelled and covid occured. It was very long by the time hairdressers re-opened. It is now as long again and I am well over 30.

The body hair thing is weird. They can't come to the conclusion that men simply have more body hair (like, chest hair) and women can have hair, but usually less? If a woman shouldn't have any body hair, then I'm a man, apparently. I have some pretty long, pale arm hair, because of _genetics._ Like, bruh.

10:00: Around 95% of adults in industrialised countries have sex before marriage, and 80% before the age of 22; average age of sexual debut for girls/women is about 16. So these guys are basically saying they want to marry teenagers. Gross.

In the church i grew up in, babies are born with their parents' sins. So you get baptized to get rid of your parents' sins. But it is not strictly girl babies. It would be all. I don't go to church anymore.

People who don't normally get periods using period pain simulators is awesome. I watch some videos of them. It's great. The greatest ones are the ones where they (usually cys-men) are trying to do things. I feel like people simply using the simulator and sit there aren't getting the full experience. I actually happened upon one where the woman made her boyfriend wear a pad she had poured a little water on and they spent some time running errands. She actually held the controls and would turn the wattage up and down randomly.

There's a Smosh Pit video where five people try to perform everyday tasks while wearing a period cramp simulator; one person who menstruates and four who don't. The person who does had it set to maximum and was doing fine, while the people who don't had it set to minimum and could barely complete their tasks.

Yep. I had someone tell me they tried a TENS cramp simulator and were begging for it to be turned off by 3. Then stared at me like I was growing another head when I said I used a TENS at a 7 as a pleasant distraction from my cramps.

For any guy who questions period pains let me put it into perspective for you. Have you ever heard of testicular torsion? Pretty much it’s when one or both of the testies gets twisted, it’s extremely painful. Ya a fairly common cause of period pain is ovarian torsion. During menstruation many woman experience their ovaries twisting on themselves causing excruciating pain. It is the exact same level of pain as testicular torsion. As the ovaries are just as sensitive as the testies are the only reason people might think they aren’t is because the ovaries are normally a bit more protected inside the body, but when the attack is coming from inside the body it feels just as sensitive as balls would. So just imagine getting kicked in the balls and having someone twist your balls every month of your life from the ages or 10-60

The whole reason there's a "real women don't have pain or endure it" thing happening lately is because it's a way to keep women feel like they're less than other women.

Otherwise I'll just say "absolutely not"
