Ayana ran such an insane race. She did what Tadese did in World Championship Berlin 2009 although Bekele was a beast and couldn't be shaken away. Dibaba couldn't hold that pace and almost didn't medal.

the commentators kept getting their predictions wrong... dibaba, dibaba,,, (dibaba is better at the shorter distances). in this race, one can see that dibaba overextended herself in trying to keep up with ayana, and consequently faded towards the end. moral of the story-don't go by (i don't know). both dibaba and ayana are no doubt top athletes, let's give them both credit.
