Very good tips and very good explanation. If I could add a couple of things, I would mention try to keep your tank over half full of your car so you can choose the time of day easier when to fill. That way you won’t be pressured in filling late at night Because your tank is getting low and you have fewer options. Also choose a well lit gas station. Some are not as well lit as others. Another thing to consider is some gas stations are more open meaning there’s no buildings close to them or fences or trees or places where somebody could hide, waiting for an opportunity. I think this is a very good topic you have found and it really doesn’t get enough discussion. People should always be thinking about safety and learning better ways to implement them. With or without tools as you mentioned, we still need to be vigilant. Great video!

Good info for all of us. I use the excuse of looking at tires so I walk around the vehicle so I can see all around the area.

Locking the doors is a requirement. I grab my keys, then push the lock button and get out usually keeping my door open, since I am right next to it pumping gas. You can hop in in an emergency, if needed.

Yeah the whole locking doors thing still baffles me, I just dont trust people so I lock EVERYTHING all the time lol when i started learning that people dont lock their house, that blew my mind.

EVs are awesome, if you can charge at "home." You can basically be "filling up" any time you're at home. Good advice otherwise.
