There's a difference between a nice guy and a "yes man". A yes man is someone who doesn't have an idea or thought, always doing what someone tells them to do and just sucking up on that person so they can that person likes them. A nice guy is someone and there's a lot of definition of "nice guy" which includes holding the doors for you, see if you're okay and caring about you, talks to you and most importantly respects you. Just know that there is Something wrong. because think about it it wasnt like this back in the 30's and 40's. back then men were actually gentlemen and Women were ladies. men would be the dominant figure but still respectful to his lady and women were submissive to their husbands but still had Self respect , back then there were more marriges and 2 parent households. It's weird to me when it comes to the Nice Guys vs. Bad Boys thing. You're on to something there. A lot of self-styled 'nice guys' think that being a nice guy means being a spineless doormat who puts a woman on a pedestal and worships the ground she walks on. The worst I've heard is 'treat her like a queen'. Most women don't want to be treated like queens, they want to be treated as human beings, as equals. The last thing they want is someone sucking up to them, kissing their asses constantly and never expressing any opinions of their own for fear of upsetting them.
