Additionally, the tools and equipment are more dangerous for the average woman because they are designed to be used by someone male. I worked in blue collar jobs and I had NO equipment (even safety equipment) besides rubber gloves and goggles that actually fit me. Everything was designed and set up to be used by someone taller. And I’m average height. It was more dangerous for me to use that equipment and those tools because the average woman was ignored in the design and construction of those things.

Re:gatekeeping jobs- At one point I was really invested in learning how to weld and working as a welder. I was getting ready to sign up and was discussing it with my partner’s dad, who had been working as a welder for like 25+ years at that point. Great money, good benefits, union, all stuff I wanted. He told me he could help me with a job if I finished the training, but warned me about the type of work environments he had to spend time in and what it was like for women. I thought that I could either spend the rest of my life fighting for my place and dealing with harassment, or I could find another profession. I did the latter, but I still think about how much cool shit I could have welded by now.

I have been 4B before that was even a thing. It has been over 8 years since I gave up men. Since then I have not dated, had sex and try not to engage in dialog with men. I had my kid years ago, and they are grown and on their own. Of all the failed relationships I have been in, I, myself is the one common factor. I used to feel a lot of shame for not following the marriage/kids path. I’m in my mid thirties now, and while it was really challenging to come to this decision in my late 20s (because growing up my perception of a single child free woman was always portrayed as sad and a failure) I would try to convince myself that I needed to find a man and hurry up and have a family before it’s too late. After all, you don’t want to have babies in your 30’s that’s far too old. Over the years, I saw my siblings and friends choose marriage and children and it made it more clear that I chose right for me. I’m so grateful that I didn’t give into the fear and gaslighting. I was today years old when I found out what the “4B movement “meant….. I looked it up because it’s become so popular. However, I have been practicing it for over six years now. I’m 50 years old. My last relationship was in 2018, and at 46 years old I was heartbroken, devastated, and completely gaslighted in a relationship that I thought was going towards long-term commitment. But he just brought fuck boy, breadcrumbing and completely deceitful behavior into the relationship. I decided then there that ( after crying so hard that I literally burst a blood vessel in my right eye ),I was done. I decided that at 46, I’m way too old to be enduring this type of heart break, my peace of mind, my personal health, and my happiness were way too important to risk dating ANY mAn any longer. I thought the 4B movement was " we don't want men' not we don't need men. I have the same question as the clip at 1218 WHY? Why do we need to perpetuate the humanity? So our daughters can suffer next? Maybe if the lives of woman, pregnancy and child birth and child care were actually treated as importantly as others make it sound.

It's hilarious to me to listen to the men say "It's not going to work". They don't seem to understand that it's not about them. It's not a ploy to get men to act better. It's a life choice where women have decided their life is better without constantly centering around men. Younger women are learning what older women learned after divorce or death of a spouse---that their life is better and happier without men. Men can talk about "it's not going to work" all they want. The women are simply walking away.

Is not only the lack of respect and not appreciating women, there’s also the number health risk and dangers women experiences by medical mile-practices and the conservatives disregarding anything that can be a risk to women health of pregnancy

I just got admire how this guy wants to frame women refusing to build relationships with men as women’s fault, and they will be at fault if the human race dies out but it’s not true. Men just want women to take one for the team and do all the work of continuation of human race, putting up with terrible men, while men get to declare that the movement was not successful, and they once again one over women. Someone needs to tell him that women are perfectly fine being on their own, and if men want to have women in their life, men need to change and become better partners, and better people.
