Aw I wish I saw this trend , I would love to participate ❤. I been married for 10yrs and my husband is “boring” (read CALM / homebody), loves me down, loves our 3kids, is an active father, owns his own business, does chores at home, and genuinely cares about my family just as much as his.

I didn’t know I needed to hear this. 🥰 I’m in a healthy marriage with my husband. It’s been 3 years now and we literally get better every year. He’s soo kind and sweet to me. I feel protected with him. He listens to me talk about my business and supports like no other. He’s fun and talks about me to family and friends with joy. I love to hear it. When he’s away with family or friends he sends pics and videos of the outing or activities and say things like “if you were here we would have so much fun or I can’t wait to bring you back”. He literally tucks me in at night and kisses my forehead before bed. I love my man my man. 😂🥰🥰

The way women will love their man and gush and glow about him when he’s truly loving her right is always a wonderful sight to see. 😭❤✨ Women are adorable I truly don’t understand how majority of these men can treat women the way they do. Misogyny is a disease.

It is good to know that there are healthy relationships. Because in this chaotic world full of people willing to do evil to others, knowing that there are other people is like taking a drink of ice water in the middle of the desert. So, congratulations to all those couples who are truly in relationships of healthy companionship, mutual respect, mutual sincerity, assertive and non-violent communication; and above all, raising emotionally healthy children.

I like hearing women talk about what men can do right months and years into a relationship. Most dating advice men give to other men is about the first few dates. Then what!? 🤯

My only complain about this and I know I'm gonna sound like a hater is that I wish I heard from more women who were in long-term relationships, there were only 1 or 2 women who had been in more than 5 or 6 year relationships. The reason why I say that is that I thought I was in a really healthy relationship for 5 or 6 years so, I always look for women who have been in 10 15, 20+ year relationships. Because I feel like that's where you really see who this person is. They really see who you are. Cause. You grow and change a lot in that amount of time.
@XXtooblueXX5 ай бұрын
I totally made my comment before finishing the video I love hearing from miss Destiny about going to therapy. That was what helped me leave my marriage. But it's also what helped me look for people like her who have been in long-term relationships. Because the 10 plus years is really where you are tested in your relationship and you see a lot of changes. I saw a lot of changes at 6 years. So, that's what I wanna hear about how you work through that growth how you work through things like losing parents and money issues. Because honestly I feel like the first 5 years is honeymoon.

My bf and I are in a wonderful relationship for over a year now. He's from a loving family and I'm not. A cartoon made me cry because it reminded me of my childhood, and he just held me. His mom knitted me a scarf for Christmas. I feel so incredibly lucky.

11:15 I agree, it does feel like bragging. That’s why I don’t usually comment about my healthy marriage. 18:32 summed up everything I would say about my husband, so her words made me smile. I hope that everyone finds their person, if that’s what they want ❤

I’m not gonna lie, I was about to exit the video until 15:40. I like to hear about HEAVY HITTERS when it comes to marriage, like 10 years and more. Not trying to take the experiences from the other women but the honeymoon stage can last up to five years for couples. When that dies down….what do you REALLY have?? I love hearing from the long lasting marriages. It’s a way better perspective for me!

Black men have a bad reputation. These women mention it to prove to the world that men, yes, black ones included, can create an amazing loving family. I am not black, but I absolutely love hearing about this. Black women have many fears, with men often being horrible partners and absent. They are giving hope!

I hate to offer a negative perspective under a video where women are looking for positivity, but I feel I have to say it: many men who are on the DL go out of their way to make their relationships with women feel healthy, normal and non-problematic. This is so the woman never has a reason to question the man, or the relationship. I say this because I recently saw a video where a man called into a show and described how he, as a person who worked from home, was able to have relations in his home with up to five different men a day, at least four days out of the week, for 20 YEARS, without his wife ever suspecting what he was doing. He made sure that by the time his wife came home, the house was clean, the laundry was done, and dinner was on the stove, and she was met with a warm greeting. His story was very eye-opening. Lots of women are being deceived into believing that their relationships are healthy, when the very health of the relationship is a smoke screen for unbelievable betrayals going on behind these women's backs. Not in every case, but in some, so please beware.

@carlabellbg5724 I have the same skepticism that you do. I look at these women and wonder which ones are being duped, or just looking at their relationships through rose-colored glasses.
@SpiritVines5 ай бұрын
It isn’t hard for black women to be in healthy relationships because they don’t exist or they’re rare, it only feels that way because so many people have never known where to look to see the relationship that would be healthiest for them in their lives. There is nothing wrong with you, the media we consume makes seeing the good in life for what it is, very very confusing. And coming from certain areas where crime and divorce and abuse are higher makes it feel like we’re the problem, when we’re not and it is entirely possible for us to find that love. We just have to dig for it enough to recognize it's shimmery glow until it becomes consistent compassion consistent care and consistent love that we are able to recognize. I never understood how lucky I was to have fallen in love so many times, now I see. I am a woman of color and I am proof that it is neither impossible nor difficult once you know where and who you’re looking for.

I loved this conversation and am glad the shift is happening. On my YT, I noticed this shift of all of my videos being negative towards love. Add podcast men and my own traumas and I was( still am) adamant thy I am staying single. However, the core is me. Is pink- it’s squishy, lovey dovey - Wendy Williams office type of pink.😂 So I don’t want to be a man hater or a hater of anything. Thank you for sharing your story, Destiny. So needed and the other women as well. May we all find our best friend and even if we don’t, may we always be our own best friend. ♥️🤎

Please understand that other peoples version of a "healthy" relationdship may not be the same as yours. I looked up to and admired a couple of married people and their relationships but then later realized just how f'ed up they were. They all lie to everyone and I get it you don't want everyone in your business but when I tell you the things I found out about how the relationship started and the kind of things they go through in private thats not for me EVER idc. I don't expect petfect but a lot of what I heard and witnessed is NOT for me so just keep that in mind. Good video though! I pray these are genuine and I would love to see and hear more like this!

You can’t be in a positive relationship around miserable people. Haters hide in plain sight. I’m a good guy who is sick of watching amazing women being used by a harem of pimps. Husbands and wives are being stalked by weirdos. Good luck to those who can see the invisible hand, the third party and the root of the problem. Conditions are not right for healthy relationships. Mental health issues are mostly based on delusional thinking. Looking perfect and being real ain’t nothing alike. It use to be. Now it’s just whatever this new stuff is.
@MB-xv7er2 ай бұрын
As a woman who married her dream man I feel this is super biased. While I have a top tier husband, I also recognize that the type of man I married is SO rare. I won’t be one of those married women planting the seed in single women’s heads that they can find a quality guy, because well, there’s less of a chance that will happen due to the current dating market. It’s not really healthy to even place that into single women’s minds because it gives false hope that they’ll find a true love. God does not have it in everyone’s plan to be married and fall in love
