Female managers. Everyone will have their own anecdotes about them. In any field, not just football. I'm fine with it with just one strongly held opinion. They are held to the same standards as male managers. No 'special' bias. I've had enough of that it in other areas. Everyone shoull be treated equally. I hate equity. Dang I didn't even think about that, that's a pretty big deal too because the players would be distracted thinking about if they are showing something they shouldn't and the manager would have to think about if she is looking where she shouldn't and being inappropriate. My issue was with how men in sports need to be able to respect the manager in a very masculine hierarchical way and not in the way men tend to respect women which is "she's a woman and I need to be mindful of that"

Indeed... the debate was entertaining! On women's sport... tennis is the only sport that women are bringing with actual profitable revenue. Tho, the downside of women managers? Players will get a monthly period mood that can affect the dynamics of the team each month that came out of nowhere! Whether or not a person is a good leader or not has got nothing to do with whether they're a man or a woman. It's down to individual character. 2 of the UK's great leaders were female, The Queen and Margret Thatcher. One of its worst leaders was female Theresa May. Equally, the UK has had some great male leaders such as Winston Churchill and many dreadful male leaders. Plus in my career, I've had both great and bad female bosses and both great and bad male bosses. Again it's down to individual character, not gender.
