That's such a small but important detail. Anyone from before the 1950s would be over the moon about modern footwear.
@AmaraEmme3 жыл бұрын
Wait why?
@gingerlicious35003 жыл бұрын
@@AmaraEmme Because before the invention of things like rubber soles and other things we take for granted in modern footwear, shoes SUCKED unless you were able to pay a serious amount of money. Even then, a pair of Nikes from the 80s, let alone today, would totally blow anything available on the market circa 1915 out of the water. The shoes Steve was used to (especially since he was a soldier) were probably not sized properly, wore out like nobodies business, were not REMOTELY waterproofed, and did nothing to keep out the cold. It's really part of an overall trend that happened in the 20th century and is still going on today: little things improved in ways we don't even think about and people may not have even noticed but that made ENORMOUS improvements to the quality of life, especially when it came to clothing, furniture (especially beds), how we could prepare food, and so on. Not only that, but the scales of production mean that items of a quality that kings and queens could have only dreamed of 120 years ago are affordable to most people. These things are the wonders of the modern industrialized world :)

@PhlilipeAlves2 жыл бұрын
This is what Diana wanted with Steve. To be with him only! She was so happy, the holding hands is one of the things she loved the most. I know at the end she accepted that he's dead and she has to live her life. Steve told her that in their goodbye. But nonetheless her life will not be the same without him at her side. At 0:15 we can see Gal Gadot laughing. Chris Pine nailed this sequence.
@gregorycrnkovic16603 жыл бұрын
One of the best parts of the first movie is when Diana asks Steve why everyone is holding hands and she runs up and grabs his. You notice in this scene she isn't letting go. I must admit when Steve was teaching her to "sway" in the first movie and she wrapped her entire right hand around the thumb on his left hand, well I could close my eyes and see my mom holding my dad's hand the same way. And when my x was teaching me to dance she did that as well. Too bad for me. She was the love my life. Too bad I wasn't the love of hers....................
@clarecianathaniel1253 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that. But please remember, someone who doesn't want you is not the love of your life. You might feel she is, but she is not. You will find the love of your life someday, someone who loves you as much as you love her; I know you will

The majority of the movie was horrible, but their chemistry during scenes like this saved a little bit of it. And I'll go so far as to say that they have such chemistry that they should star in a romance together. Either a romantic comedy or a straight romance movie without the comedy. Star duos used to do it all the time way back when. It could totally work for these two.
@PhlilipeAlves Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say horrible but it could have been way better. Actually I only watch the scenes with Diana and Steve (I'm a Wondertrev fan) and also Diana with Barbara. Nevertheless Max was fun but a bit too much. But it will be nice those two in a romantic movie. Maybe...

People hate on this movie. Tbh I liked it. In the first movie Steve is showing the world to Diana, helping her get dressed and saying that they are not together so they should not hold hands. In this movie is exactly the opposite. Diana is helping him get dressed and showing him the world while you can see they hold hands. The movie was more focused in the romance between them rather anything else but for some reason I didnt mind it. More action and better action are needed in the next movie.

Same, I’m so sad people find this movie bad, I can see what they mean but I just adore this movie. I love the fighting scenes and also the more calmer scenes such as this one. The next time Steve is completely gone and I believe it will have more action.
@superjackster01652 жыл бұрын
It’s not horrible. But there were a lot of problems with it * The film was too long. I typically don’t have a problem with long movie. But this film didn’t need to be 151 minutes. There were several scenes that could’ve either been shortened or cut out entirely. A lot of scenes felt like filler * The way Steve Trevor is brought back is very creepy and pointless. Diana technically rapes a man * The villains, Barbara and Maxwell, are very poorly written. * Almost every male character is portrayed as some creepy pervert. A stereotype I absolutely hate * The ending raises a lot of plot holes * In Batman V Superman, it’s said that Diana has been undercover and out of the public eye since World War I. Yet, she’s actively doing superhero work in public in 1984. So there’s a giant continuity error there

WHAT IS GOING ON?"... ah good times. BTW for anyone who doesn't know, the T in Gadot is not silent.
