Demetrius Johnson and Wonderboy are the ONLY mma fighters I feel that have the humility it takes to truly be the complete fighters that they are. Holland is great too for admitting how shocked he was at how fast Wonderboy is. That was one of the best fights I've ever seen.

Rewatch the fight back, Holland has visibly much faster hands, the difference is that Wonderboy was more elusive and able to get away using footwork. Holland wasn't able to evade Wonderboy when he would blitz, it was partly speed but it seemed more like a lack of defense to me. Wonderboy was blitzing in and catching Holland with perfect timing.

The guy tko'd Buckley and Geoff Neal standing up and also is able to win standup against opponents like Brunson, Vettori and Anthony Hernandez. Holland is very long and hits his straights fast and flush. With his long limb and athestcism he generates scary power for his scrawny look that's how he KO'd Jacare on the bottom position. I honestly thought Holland became weaker after dropping to 170 especially in his first fight against cowboy oliveira he seemed slower and "weird" in movement. But the 56% of this fight on Tapology predicting Holland by KO against WB shows majority of the fans expected Kevin to be the superior striker but WB proved it much otherwise.

Maybe the fight of the decade for me. Certainly one of the most epic displays of martial arts mastery the UFC has ever showcased. I’m a huge fan of “mixed” martial arts but you can’t deny the heart pounding excitement of two men standing and delivering. there was a point in the later rounds where you land a nice lead left kick which Holland blocks with only his arm. As soon as I think "that headkick is pretty free" you're already starting to take advantage of that opening and just start landing back to back on that angle the rest of the fight. It was amazing to watch how many tools you had in your kit that can hit that mark.

This was your best fight in forever. In this fight I was very impressed that instead of staying out of range all fight at safe distance creating a mostly boring fight you stayed closer, when he engaged you met him with your intercepting 1,2. You used your side kick, leg kicks, hook kicks like superfoot bill wallace. And when he was hurt you used your spinning hook kick to try to finish him. This fight was awesome, you met his energy with your energy and you imposed your will on him more often. In many of your recent fights you seemed to have low energy because you barely engaged anymore. But in this fight you engaged very often, you had tons of energy to burn, and you fought to the death, you were in it, win or lose, you fought with great courage and resilience and technique. That head butt he cracked you with was brutal but it was awesome how you fought out of it, through it, and carried on the war. Great fight Wonderboy, I thought you were too out of your prime and wanted you to retire but you sure proved me wrong. I've always been a fan. This was one of my favorite fights of yours to date.
