As an American Soldier and a former Philippine Army Soldier, my great advices for any military applicants around the world most specially for the SPECIAL Forces trainings are: 1.) Avoid creating unwanted attention. 2.) Observe everything around. 3.) Be a team player. 4.) Don't quit / Never give up. May the Lord God bless you and your family always.

Probably not, most Thai soldiers are conscripts from the rural south or north. The rich or just those with enough money can pay out of conscription. This unit is voluntary though. Definitely a bunch of tough dudes.

In the past, I was a soldier in the 4th Special Forces Unit of the Royal Thai Army. Currently resigned The recon unit is the strongest unit of the special forces in Thailand.

I was a ROK marine recon from 2009-2014 and I also graduated basic recon course like this video, but I don’t agree with you. The Royal Thai recon unit is the strongest of the special forces in the world :)

Respect these guys..Thailand has strict no foreigner labours code which is actually the first line of defense...Not like the neighbouring country that allows the influx of foreigners to work in various industries...their loyalty only reserved for the highest bidder...

Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand, we have lost many times in fighting because we were not trained enough. After that, it is as you see because war in Asia is more scary than fighting in the West. If you don't know how difficult it is, you can try work in Shan State.

I love that Thailand always use American old gears for training. All of them are older than the recruits or even the trainers. You might think that we still use old weapons you left us since the Vietnam war. 😂
They're not brand new recruits or got drafted but they're active military but being recruiting into this particular special force. For the training purposes they're using mix old and new equipment.

We an infantry unit who is always be at the frontline have the best gears. I just saying that people who don’t really know when they see this video may think that we still use 50 years old weapons, that’s it.

Wow. Even if recruit do not fit into the tables of requirement you have to appriciate if he stands again and continue without giving up. I would say it is way more on the real battlefield than a fullfil all requirement in the training.
