congrats on passing your recurrent. As for luggage, it seems Spain has difficulties with checked bags. We had trouble in both directions in August. Two items heading into Barcelona and one heading back. The problem was definitely on the Barcelona side of things, as that's where they ultimately found everything just hanging out waiting to be found. Somehow things seem to go stray there for a day or two or three.

I just don't know what you have there that we don't have in Europe. If it weren't for the movies and their lies, you would be at the same level as communist Russia, the vast majority of the US is stuck in the 80s, in infrastructure, communications, advances, hotels, restaurants, stores... When you give gifts to the crew, what do you buy? We give gifts when we fly, but it’s usually just candies from the mixed bags (like Hershey, Reeces, Kisses, KitKat, etc - and I add Tootsie Pops), but would love to know what the crew REALLY looks forward to❣️ “Thank you for keeping us safe❣️”
@RustySax1949Ай бұрын
When I fly, I get $5 gift cards to Starbucks - seems like all flight crews (cabin and flight deck) like to stay caffeinated! How do I know how many cards to buy? I research how many seats are on the aircraft I'll be flying on and divide that number by 50, as the FAA requires one flight attendant for every 50 seats. Add two more for the pilot and co-pilot and you're set. I pick up a pack of "thank you" cards from the dollar store, put the gift cards inside with a little handwritten note, then hand the sealed envelope to the lead flight attendant at the front door when boarding, asking him/her to share with the whole crew. I don't dawdle, just hand it to them with the greeting and proceed on to my seat. Simple, yet effective!
@margaretmathis4775Ай бұрын
@@RustySax1949 Thank you❣️ Yeah, that’s how I calculate my candy purchases as well, and I guess by the time I buy all the candy (and eat some…..), it probably comes out close to even. I’ll consider that next trip❣️
