Wondershare Recoverit Review - Recover Your Lost Data

Beware! Here is my experience with Wondershare. So I had some corrupted video files that two different recovery companies tried to recover to no avail. As a last ditch effort I decided to give Wondershare a shot. They said that they had a 7 day free trial, so I thought it’s worth a try. I downloaded the software and ran a known video file that would not open at all using Quick Time or Premiere Pro. The software asked me to use the advanced tools which involved adding a good video file with the same video settings. After running the file through the software said that it had a successful recovery. Great! this could be the answer I thought. Well it wouldn’t let me view the video file without entering my Visa. So I thought that we had a 7 day free trial so I did. When I opened the file I was not recovered successfully. It was pixelated, glitchy and unusable. So I contacted support and asked for my money back. They were slow to respond and instead of issuing a credit made it difficult to get my $$. Long story short. This program did not work for me. Many emails back and forth. Just refund my money for crying out loud.! Matt

Wondershare successfully recovered my lost file once, and I was happy. But then I didn't need the software for additional months of use, I don't recall the specifics but I feel like I had to fight with them to stop the monthly charges. They're slimy to work with. -AW

Can confirm that! Big archives will be a bz2-Archiv which you can not Open. No Programm will open it, because the Files are broken. The Money is gone!

Onedrive forcefully scanned all my files on my hard drive and uploaded them to Onedrive, in a mandatory computer update I deleted my onedrive data and accidentally my actual desktop on my computer I'm just trying to get my data back man, why you have to hack me bro?\

My experience with Recoverit was less than satisfactory. Despite my attempts to recover lost data, I unfortunately couldn't retrieve it successfully. Frustrated with the results, I decided to search the internet for alternative solutions. That's when I came across Stellar Data Recovery software, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the results.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT. There is nothing free about this app. You do all this work to download, install, change preferences, allow FULL access to all your data and then as it is scanning it tells you to purchase the software in order to recover your file. If you don't buy it - it just continues scanning all your files!

I just bought this software within one hour of mistakenly erasing a file. The file was found intact with the correct size. However, it didn't recover the full file, so I can't use it. Mind you, no other files were deleted and still this software couldn't recover them. I don't recommend this software.

It is a scam. Stay away. I paid 160 Euros for nothing. Can't even find videos on a SD that had no rewrites. It's an hacking tool you install yourself.

Stay away. It scanned my hd for 3 hr. Just after the scan i had to pay to recover. Didn't say anything in the beginning. Thats just the worst. Stay away!
