It’s beautiful on so many levels. Loving humanity, brother sisterly love, friendship love and kindness. Also something the director captured intentionally or accidentally is facing a world as a Black female. Being in an unwanted position of not letting one’s guard down because of realities you never created and the heartbreak from those dumb realities. Love the film and its diversity.

I couldn't stop grining the first time I saw this scene! I bought Wonka on Blu Ray a few days ago and have already re-watched it twice! I still smile when I get to this scene and I walk away from the movie always feeling so good, warm, and inspired inside! Whatever the people behind these movies are doing, they need to keep doing it! Because Wonka and Paddington are exactly the kinds of warm, uplifting, sweet, wholesome, clean family movies we need and sadly see so few of these days!

I wasn't really expecting much from this movie. After all, it's just another prequel of a beloved franchise with [recently popular actor] titled [last name of character]. However, I was absolutely floored by the expertly written characters and interactions between them, the stunning visual design, and of course, the soundtrack which is nothing short of magical. Sure, you can tell it's intended for the younger audience, but it masterfully keeps the older viewers engaged just as much. I think this scene is the perfect showcase of just what this movie was made to accomplish. It has pretty wacky visuals, but it's so extremely heartfelt and it's blatantly obvious that care and effort were put into every second, every frame, every note. The people who made this movie cared not only about the story and franchise, but also for the very magic of childhood.
